Hello to all LL friends...........
Davidson is still doing very well and has adjusted to being OTJ better then expected. It's almost 2 months now and his BG levels are still very low in spite of the recent dental work. I'll be travelling this weekend for 3 days and the pet sitter will be here twice daily and it will be interesting to see if his levels go up at all. I'll test tomorrow before leaving and once I get back - he does know her since she's been here a few times and when she was here Davidson greeted her, so she's familiar to him once again. As we all know, any stressful situation can bring on the insulin again and this will be a good test..............if he made it through a couple trips to the Vet and surgery, then I'm hoping he'll be as good during my absence.
I've updated Davidson's SS and will continue to monitor him and provide updates.
We've been watching all our friends with the same hopes they all get OTJ or at least stabilize. Davidson is one of the lucky Guys to go into remission and I can only stress for all you newbies out there to follow the protocol here and stick to it!! There is hope for all of out kitties, although some do better then others - you never know just what might you no differently then Davidson did for me.
Have a great weekend,
Shawna
