Checkers is still in decent range for having no insulin for 10 days. He stays mostly in low blue. I'm very pleased.
Haven't been able to update SS for couple days. Will try today.
This morning's ambg is no doubt food related, as I could see that he had recently eaten last night's offering.

Have a great Sunday, Barb!! :-D

Re: 6/12 Checkers ambg 131 +4/92

That +4 is really nice! I hope you are taking it as easy as Checkers has been. :-D

Even though it is unofficial what to the advisors say?

Re: 6/12 Checkers ambg 131 +4/92

Ann, I haven't been posting numbers regularly, because I haven't felt up to keeping a schedule, so no advisors.
I am waiting for the shoe to drop, so to speak, but very happy with his progress, at this point.
Until I'm able to rejoin community, properly, I'm kind of hiding under the radar, so no one reminds me that we are not following protocol. :-D

I read condos when I'm able, to see what our kitty and bean friends are doing, but am sorry that I am not able to sit and respond.
I miss you all so much.

Sweet! Those numbers look pretty good for no insulin in 10 days! Keep up the recovery Barb - we miss you!

OMG...THIS LOOKS FREAKIN' SWEET TO ME!!!!

boy have i missed you guys....so glad you're feeling better...and look at the chexman go!!!

Binks and i ran away from home for a quiet couple of weeks in the woods...and look what happened while we were gone!!!

I realize I'm not keeping proper records of Checks numbers. I just don't know what to call them anymore.
Still holding my breath, and praying he stays blue, if not green.

not bad!

Seems like he's running a little high, there's more blue than we would normally see. Have you tried feeding smaller meals more frequently? Then also test a few hours after a small meal to see if the food brings the number down. Good luck!

Barb, you are doing great and so is Checks! Your main concern has to be to heal properly. We are so proud of you both. Is Susan still staying with you? If so, say hi to her and thank her again for all of us for taking such good care of Checkers (and you!).

I gather from your post in Rusty's condo that your weather is not the greatest either! We are just happy for the little bits of sun we get. Did I tell you that I partially fixed the main leak in our cellar floor? I got really mad at it and decided to throw caution to the winds and try to patch it with hydraulic cement. And it worked (sort-of; it's still seeping a bit, but not running like an open faucet). The cellar is 90% better since I patched that hole in the floor. Now, if the water table would just drop!!

Have a restful evening and take care of yourself. Checkers is really looking wonderful.

Barb, Good to hear you are up & about a bit...Checks is lookin beautifully blue..Moonie always feels her best in the nice blue numbers..So I want you to know I have all paws & fingers crossed that Checks will continue his blue & green numbers...and that you heal up really quick. ;-) Big Hugs & Lubs from us!!

I agree with everyone - take care of you, the rest will all fall into place when you are ready. Take your time, do the best that you are able, take each day as they come, heal... I think Checkers is doing wonderfully - I couldn't be happier for you. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Barb, take care of yourself and I hope you are feeling better. Checkers is doing so amazing without insulin for 10 days. What a relief it must be for you to not have to worry about all the testing and shooting. Checkers is making it so much easier for you. Take care and rest, rest, rest!
