Started a new pen this morning. The old one was almost gone, and I'm hoping it might explain the crazy numbers, although they are lower in morning cycle. We'll see.
Not hoping for green today, as I have doc appt this afternoon. Last test will be +5.

He ate breffis well, is all medicated. Seems to feel well.

Hopefully you get some good numbers with the new pen:) It's always good to hear of a kitty eating and feeling well, have a great day :-D

Good morning Barb ~O) ~O) How have you & Checkers been?

Have you noticed a difference in your pain level since you got your dream mattress about a month ago?

I hope Checkers slides to the blues today! And I hope all is well since you mentioned that you have a doctor's appointment.... Have a wonderful day!

Ugh on that amps, nice to see the slide at +3. Phew! You slide nice and slow Checks, no low stuff as mama has to head on out in a bit. Its nice to read that Checks seems to feel well this morning. Always a good thing.

I hope you have good drs appt this afternoon. Good "vetty " vines for the bean.

Hi guys .. good luck with the new pen .. I'm always impressed with those that can use the pen till it's pretty much gone .. seems like we were always tossing away about a half a pen each month .. sickening for sure .. Have a great day!

Thank you for good thoughts everybody.

At the rate he's falling, he'll be blue when I leave in hour & half. He'll be green while I'm gone then.
Normally he would rise around + 7, but I can't count on it.

Should I leave a dish of HC? I'm already scared going to new spine doc. Worrying about my baby on top of that, has got me a wreck.

I have to leave at his +5.5

Barb, I would say if leaving HC makes you feel better then leave it out .. the worst that could possibly happen with HC is higher numbers .. you've dealt with them before and know that he'll come back down .. if you don't leave out HC he could go much lower then you'd like and bounce high anyways .. better safe then sorry right? ((hugs)) Good luck at the new spine dr!

If you're nervous about what Checks is going to do, leave out HC. Oh. And don't say you "...hope to see green" when you know you have to go out. Checks read his condo is is trying to please his bean.

LOL.....that's true, Sienne. We all know they read their condos. :lol:

I am going to leave out hc, because high numbers is so much less worrisome than low.

Good luck w/ the new doc and Checks should be just fine w/ the extra fuds. He was slowing down anyway. ;-)

Gave Gravy Lovers to slow/stop, the descent. I'll get an out the door test.....in 20 minutes or so.

I hope everything went well with the new doctor today. Hopefully you came home to a nice number from Checkers.

YIKES! Susan's answer to this is, he probably dropped to 20, while I was waiting and waiting and waiting, in doc office.

Two hour wait to see doc for 10 minutes!!! He ordered bunch of tests. MRI, hip x-rays, blood workup for inflammation, and a couple of meds.

I was so scared for Checkers, I expected to find him unconscious when I got home. nailbite_smile
I had split can of HC between 3 dishes, and Checks probably ate them all, from the looks of it. :lol:

I'm off to check condos. Gotta know if Maggie pooped, and Zener ate, and and and :-D

I hope your new doc gets some good answers for you. Lots of good results vines to you! I hope they didn't record your BP while you were worried about Checks.

Barb, I'm sorry you were so worried about Checkers while gone, and here he was having himself a nice picnic. In fact, it sounds like three picnics. :lol: Most of the specialists I've dealt with it's also a long wait. I can understand your worry with Checkers. Now time to slide down Checkers.
Sounds like your doctor is being very thorough, and the tests necessary so he can diagnose and treat.

Hi Barb,
I'm glad that you're home. Now Checkers can come down gracefully. Bummer that you had to wait so long to see the doctor. I hope you had a good book with you. We have had doctors who were always late for their appointments. Edward once prorated his doctor's bill after she kept him waiting for over 4 hours. He did give her a "professional discount". The secretary wasn't amused, but the doctor took it all in stride and never mentioned it.

Have a fine, restful evening. I hope that the battery of tests you have to take will give you some answers about your back pain and how to lessen it.

I feel guilty going to bed, when he's so high, so will sit here until he starts to come down...usually around +4.

This high number isn't bothering him at all. He just came racing down the hall, to beat Clancy to the couch. :lol:
