Oh, i didn't realize you are in Spain
the Wellness Core cans are like around $2/can here, around $1.5/can when on sale
and most of the better brands on the spreadsheet are not available in local petsmarts

as i understand, Carb needs to be under 1o, while phos under 200, right ?
for diabetic cat with kidney issue

:-(
I wish they would just stop messing with the formulas.
As I'm not in the US, I haven't got any suggestions on economical options for you that might be low in carb and P, sorry.

Maybe ask in tomorrows thread title.
LowP and low Carb easily available economical options???

This is the updated sortable chart from Dr Lisa 2017

so i guess nothing in the Wellness Core really fits in prefectly anymore .
closest is either Chicken Turkey & liver @ 8 carb/215 phos or turkey & duck @ 5 carb/265 phos
a little give and take on each, which on should i choose?

Bummer on the FS.

come to any conclusions about the food?

I've sent a pm out to see if someone can help you with suitable food choices for belle.
The food I use for George, is not available in the us. Bummer really asits LC and low p

The EVO had 0.4% phosphorus. I have greater luck going to the manufacture's website for nutritional information than on a distributor's website. Here's the link: http://www.evopet.com/products/1401. Look under the nutritional analysis tab.

If you want to feed raw, Darwin's has a low phosphorus brand. You'll need a prescription from your vet, though.

I didn't know they changed the EVO chicken & Turkey. That was my go-to for Cinco. That's a shame.

If you feed fish, Pinnacle's Chicken and Ocean Fish is 5% carb and 172 Phos. It's a little harder to find, though - Petsmart and Petco don't carry it. You could contact the manufacturer to see if it's available in your area.

I sometimes found I had to go up to about 225 Phos for foods, as under 200 is so darned hard to find. A couple of the Wellness Complete Health (formerly Grain Free line) are not bad - Beef & Salmon is 6% carbs and 207 Phos, and Turkey is 4% and 200 Phos.

Another brand I used was Dave's. Their Beef & Chicken is 4% carbs and 182 Phos and Chicken & Whitefish is 4% and 209. They also have a "restricted diet" line that is good, although closer to MC - Port is 9% and 154 Phos.

I was worrying over low phosphorus/low carb recently, although I don't think Yum needs it yet. Whole Foods has IandLoveandYou Wholly Cow! pate that looks very promising on Dr. Pierson's chart. If you look at the Guaranteed Analysis on the website, it looks awful. But Dr. Pierson's chart is TNA or Typical Nutrient Analysis if I remember correctly. Her table shows 3% carbs and 140 for phosphorus. Almost too good to be true.

Thanks, i got some great feedbacks from other members

I don't think i have seen Pinnacle brand around, and I just search Chewy, and can't find it either.

Before they change the formula, Wellness Core (beef, lamb, venison) was 5 carb/171 phos, which is great,
EVO chicken&turkey was 2 carb/155 phos, even better.

but now i guess for Wellness Core, chicken&turkey is the best deal at 8 carb/215 phos

yes, i see that Wellness Complete health has Turkey @ 4 carb/200 phos

I was able to find Dave's beef and chicken formula and restricted diet on Chewy, which seems like a good deal too

Has belle got ckd? If yes do you know what stage? When was he dx?
Do you know what his phosphorus levels were at his last blood test?
