Hopefully in the next half hour I'll be connected to the world wide web!!! Woohoo I've felt like I'm missing an appendage during this move lol You never realize how much of your life is in that little box until its not there.

Autumn continues to do extremely well since the move. Unfortunately poor Cassanova caught a kitty cold. So he's a sneezey boy at the moment. And last night we had a our first bad storm in the new place that completely freaked him out. At one point he was crying and trying to crawl under my shirt with every clap of thunder. Nothing like a 20lb cat trying to drape himself around your neck while yowling at the top of his lungs.

Great numbers for both of them, considering that bowling game the angels played in the clouds last night. Hope you didnt get scratched up when Cassanova was trying to get under your shirt

Aw poor Cassanova. It makes you wonder what they went through before you knew them. I had a cat who got out of my apartment during a week of thunderstorms. My brother saw him and caught him on the day I was moving out. Since that excursion he was so afraid of storms that he could sense them. He would run off growling to his hiding place before the clouds were even visible. I love how Cassanova seeks you out for comfort.

Yea Autumn!!

I know quite a bit about Cassanova since he was adopted from a private party who was also his original owner. She found both him and his brother as 12 week old kittens who wandered onto her property half starved.

Now what he endured during those first 12 weeks of his life no one will ever know.

Three month old babes!!! So glad the owner took them in and Cassanova has you. Alska is afraid of storms but doesn't like to show it. I only know because he will move so that his back is pressed up against me and he doesn't sleep very well. All my other kitties don't seem to mind.

Maxwell is terrified by them but who can blame him after surviving a hurricane!! Cassanova never has been bother until last night but then it's a new place with new sounds and the hail was about golf ball size as well as the storm formed right on top of us. So that probably added to his fright.

Autumn on the other hand is a retired barn cat you could explode a grenade next to her and she'd just shoot you a crusty look and go back to sleep lol.

mel, ur writing is so funny sometimes :) thats so sad for cassanova, but the way u told the story was cute. i see a lot of creative writing potential on this board...from some folks!
larry hides, usually in the closet, at the first clap of thunder, if any1 comes in the house besides me, etc. hes so so scared of everything.
im imagining him jumping on me like ur boy, wow!
