Good Morning, Everyone,

I decided to go up a drop this morning rather than waiting for Rusty to clear the vetty-visit bounce. I had intended to take him up in any event, so why not now. New dose is what I am calling a "straight" 2 units: 2.88mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe.

Rusty had a good night recovering from his vetty visit. All of his nighttime food was eaten, as usual. This morning we had a good test (except for the number), good shot (he still smells like the vet's, but we didn't smell any Lev), good breakfast (a smorgasboard of FF T&G, Wellness Turkey, Paw Lickin' Chicken), a lung treat, and a schmooze. I hope this pancreatitis flare will be gone soon. Don't know the number yet (the bloodtest went out to IDEXX Labs yesterday) and I'm hoping that it will be a mild inflammation, as it has been before. Rusty doesn't have any of the symptoms except for the fact that his bgs have been wonky lately, and in a higher range than usual. His appetite has been really good, and I am making sure that he gets lots of water in his food.

Rain, rain, and more rain. It's pouring today (might be the residue of the hurricane). I just got back from taking Edward to his yoga class. No outdoor plans for today, but I sure have a lot of work to do at my desk: accounts, letters to write, professional stuff to be read. So the rainy day will be put to good use. I may even have time to read in my novel! :-D

Wishing you all a good day and continuing to send healing vines to Simon and all other kitties and beans in need of some,

Ella & Rusty

Yo Kitties, Thanks for the KTSS treatment yesterday when I got back from my ordeal at the vettybean's. Today it's supposed to rain all day and I'm still recuperating from yesterday, so I'm going to chillax on the front porch. Anyone care to join me? Maybe we can order in some Paw Prints pizzas. They were great the other day, even the coffee-bean ones. But I think chicken-hearts and shredded kale on nip crust would be tasty, yes?

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Hi, Ella, it sounds like you'll have a nice catch-up day today. I'm glad Rusty had a restful night and is doing well today. The KTSS krewe did a good job! Paws crossed that the test result shows mild inflammation (or better yet, NONE).

Rusty! Chillaxin on your porch and pizza?? Iz on my way! I'll bring some shrimpies appetizers ~ they're sauteed in butter, then rolled in tuna flakes. mmmmmm. You can tell us all about your traumatic visit yesterday to that place. Can't wait to see you! ~Ripley

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

Oh Rusty.... that amps! Best come on down now, 'K? Vet day is over, and all is well. I hear that the KTSS did a great job yesterday. Good luck with the dosecrease Ella. I hope it jumps starts things for him.

Bummer on the P'titis, but I am glad that it is only mild, and that he is a-symptomatic. I sometimes wonder if our kitties go through this alot, and that we are just not aware that that is the case, and assume that numbers are just wonky. Well, hope that clears it soon. So nice that he is still eating. When Mannie had his he wasn't eating, and just felt awful. Then again his wasn't a mild flare either so.... I'm just glad all is OK with Rusty, and that there are no major symptoms.

Bummer on your rains! It is threatening here today. Good I suppose that you have enough indoor things to keep you busy. :-D I should be doing some of that too! Hope it all goes well.

Very nice that Rusty ash such a good check up at the vetty. Good news on his breathing, and he AllerPlex.

Have a great day today. :-D

YO RUSTY! PawPrints Pizza here. We can do that! we think the chicken-hearts and shredded kale on nip crust is an excellent idea. Hmmmmmm - now on our menu! You want another coffee bean one? We can borrow some of Elsa's beans when she is not looking. heheheehe.... See ya soon! Lola and Bug, prez's and ceo's of PawPrints Pizza

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Work that dosecrease, Rusty, and sending vines that this p-titus flare remains mild and brief. That does make me wonder about when Trix's numbers go wonky for no apparent reason, too...no symptoms of anything different, other than odd numbers.

Have a great day, Ella!!

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Hi guys .. Good luck with the new dose rusty, I know you will put it to good use! I hope the test results show just a mild flare up and he'll be back to 100% very soon .. sorry to hear about the dreary weather but at least you can do what you have to do inside while not missing a beautiful day outside, right? have a great day!

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Hi Ella. Fingers crossed the dosecrease does the trick for Rusty. It sounds like he is still doing fine and enjoying Camp Stu.

Bummer on all the rain but you'll feel better once you have all that non-fun stuff out of the way  .

Wishing you dryer weather; have a nice day.

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Hi Ella, so sorry to hear Rusty has a flare of pancreatitis. That explains the wonky numbers but glad he is doing okay and eating and doing the normal Rusty things. Sending healing vines and good luck on the drop crease.

Rusty, on my way over shortly with some chicken wings and niptuni dup to go along with Elsa's pizzo, Mags

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

Sorry about the p-titis. I wonder, too, if mild cases happen more often that we think. The last time we had Tess in for blood work she was off her food. They didn't run the P-titis tests though, but I wonder. Her Amylase was up and I found out that can be an indicator. Previously it had always been on the low side.

Rusty, watching the rain from the porches sounds purrfect! We's getting spoiled w/ all this delivery service! I think a rainy day needs some cookies baking too. Cimmamum cookies and Catmint Crisps! -- Tess

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292; dosecrease

I am wondering why you think it is a pancreatitis flare if his appetite is so good.....hmmmm....
I am so confused with Ptitis....when my two refuse to eat it is the first symptom and since they both had a bout of it, I like to get the IDEXX test done to be sure. I thought that some kitties may vomit with it....Shadow gets hairballs and vomits with those so that is sometimes the start of his inappetance...
Anyway, I hope Rusty feels better soon Ella....
Was wondering too about the Paw lickins.....does it have gravy and what is the carb 5....am looking around for new foods all the time. I guess that has to be ordered online around here though...
Hope you gusy have a good day...hugs!

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292, +5.5 166; dosecrease

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope it helps Rusty have better numbers. I hope Rusty feels better soon.

Re: 6/11 Rusty AMPS 292, +5.5 166; dosecrease

Good luck witH the dose crease. I hope it brings him back down. I missed the Vetty visit yesterday. Hope you get the labs back and get so e answers. Bummer on the rain. Have a great night Ella!!

Re: 6/11 Rusty PMPS 284, +4.5 160

This was a low-key day for Rusty. He slept a lot and ate a lot to make up for yesterday. The dosecrease is being held back by yesterday's bounce (or maybe by pancreatitis). Anyway, Rusty had a nice, restful day--a good rainy day activity.

I didn't get as much done as I had hoped and still have to do the accounts. Ugh! But I will put it off until tomorrow.

Wishing all a good evening,

Ella & Rusty
