Looks like Putty may have surfed blue all night or maybe dipped a little into green.
He wanted me to play with him last night which is always a good sign that he is feeling fine which also meant I did not have to play all by myself
again. ohmygod_smile
I spoke to the vet about changing Putty's insulin to Levemir. She always tells me that she trusts all of my decisions with Putty and supports whatever changes I would like to make. She does not know much about Lev but she says it is a good opportunity for her to research it more. I love my vet.

Nice numbers for Putty. It's so nice your Vet trusts your decisions and works with you.

I went through 2 vets in the same practice and was about to leave and find another one when I was told they hired a new vet. I figured I would give it one more shot since I had heard great things about her and I am so glad I did. The only problem is that she has become so popular that it is hard to get an appointment with her.

I went thru a similar experience with my Vet. He was stubborn with home testing. I happened to have a consult with a different Vet in the same clinic about what to feed Maggie early in her diagnosis. This Vet was pro home testing and started me on the Alpha Trak. She only works part-time, so I still have the original Vet, but now he's really come around since he sees how well Maggie is doing on home testing.
 
Glad to hear Putty was playful. I'll be watching to see how the lev works out for him.

ot...I had the best salad today..baby greens, gorgonzola cheese, grilled Italian chicken, strawberries and balsamic vinegar dressing. Its become my new favorite salad. Thanks Miriam!
