Yesterday, what seems to be a typical Neko pattern. Mostly blue, with daytime visit to blue and night time visit to green.

Another sunny 5P solarium kind of day for Neko. There was a really good whacking session at PM +9 and a shorter one at AMPS. They start by staring at each other. I can just hear them saying "I dare you". Then someone flinches and away they go. :lol:

I should be getting Neko's B/W results sometime today. I'll put a call into the vetty office shortly. Neko's vet does the afternoon/evening shift today. I think I might have to refine my technique for giving Neko the gabapentin in pill pockets. She bit into one this AM and I don't think the med tastes good. She was making lots of motions with her mouth after, but the pill went down. Next time I'll give it to her just before her main meal which I'm hoping will distract her so she'll just swallow.

Cheering on Juno today - last day of his OTJ trial. Sending vines to those in need, including JD, Melissa's drooler Charlie, Zener, Trixie, Lucy, Tricia's civie Sasha.

I'm glad Neko's vetty visit went well yesterday. I hope the gabapentin helps. Hopefully you get the b/w results back today and they are good.

Nice numbers for Neko today. :mrgreen:

Keeping my fingers crossed for a good vetty report! Neko looks awesome today even if she didn't like the taste of her meds. Now I understand what my mother used to go through trying to get us to take our meds. If I thought that making choo-choo train noises would work...I'd be choo-chooing ALL the time! :lol: Hope you guys have a lovely evening!

I missed your reference to the World Soccer Cup and how Neko liked the colors of Brazil! :lol: Fingers crossed for a good report on the bloodwork, and hope the new med works out for the both of you!

Just got the blood work results. In the vetty's words - fantastic. :-D :-D For the first time ever, almost all of her results were in the normal range. Glucose was a tiny bit out of range, 9.8 (176) when the reference range is 4-9.7 (72-175) :roll: and platelet count was down but they were clumped which lowers the count. Way to go Neko! cat_pet_icon Idexx now produces results which show comparisons with the last two tests and even graph some of the key measures back to when Neko first got bloodwork done. So nice to see improvement over time.

@Carla, Deborah, Catherine, Ruth - Thanks for the visit. One happy bean here on the B/W results, now I just want that gabapentin to work so she feels better. Deborah - Now I'm mentally going to be making choo-choo train noises when I give the pill tonight. :lol:

So sad to hear the news about Bisse - my heart goes out to Helle tonight. :cry:

All good things must come to an end. But does the bean get to sleep tonight? We were out at a rowing club board meeting for a couple of hour after PMPS. As soon as we came home, Neko wanted out. She lasted for about 2 minutes, when she realized it was about time for Otto (+2). After greeting Otto again she headed outside again. Summer bug hunting (moth) season has begun. :cool: You think they'd make moth flavored pill pockets. ;-)

@Julie, Mariko, Carla, Dyana, Amy, Elise, Suzanne, Rhiannon - Thanks for keeping my almost perfect little girl company. I never thought I'd see all her bloodwork values within normal range. Now about that blood glucose - one lousy point - sheesh! :lol:
