Morning ~O) ~O) and a yellow this morning, yikes! Hard to believe this is Maggie! Any time I get a number I'm unsure of, I also test on my back-up (Relion Micro) which tested at 202, so the AT was on target. This was also the first time using the new strips with the old meter, so I was hoping it was the strips shooting off a high! I think I shortchanged Mags a little on the microdosing last night. At least I hope it's the reason. She's not moving too much though at the +3, but at least we're down to barely blue! Well, in spite of the yellow, Maggie is feeling great! I even awoke to the mouse part of her pole toy next to me on my pillow. :-D So since she couldn't stay the night, she left the mouse with the Bean. I didn't even awake to hear her, so I must have been really tired, as I'm a light sleeper. Still sleepy and need more coffee, so not sure what's on the agenda. I do have errands and need to check with my neighbor and see how her kitty is this morning. We suspect a UTI, but her kitty needs to see a Vet.

Maggie and Trix are in cahoots this morning with these odd yellows and slow movement, that's for sure! It makes me wonder when several of us see the same odd trend at the same time...I suppose it's a coincidence, but it does seem strange, doesn't it?

So Ann you are also the kitty expert to your neighbour? Whenever any of my friend's kitty got anything "unusual", they'll call me to discuss. Hey, I am not a vet! I am more experienced in LB cleaning only! :lol:
Did Maggie get the boiled chicken filet?

Hi Amy, I think so, too, that our girls are in cahoots, or they got into something kitty crack last night together! :lol: Thanks on the kitty, Her kitty is peeing and pooping on her carpet.

Hi Helen, yes, for some reason neighbors think I'm the expert here with the kitties. The Manager of the complex tells them, see Ann. I'm just good at spoiling them. :lol: I have to buy the chicken today for Mags. I'm hoping it will improve her numbers.

I always believe in home cooking. Boiled chicken filet is low in fat & definitely a LC. Hope Maggie will love it!
The way I do it is ; I THOROGHLY defrost it first, boil in water , cool down & tear into thin slices. Keep in portion for meals. Every time before feeding I take it out from the fridge to reheat.
Reason why I go into detail is, they used to hate the chicken before until I do it this way. Is that how you do it too?

Maggie is that really you? What's up? It is good to see her coming down. maybe just one of those days. ;-) or.... it is a conspiracy and they all wanted to start out yellow today. Mannie is too. :lol:

I hope your neighbor's kitty is OK. Nice that you will check on her. It is funny how all think we are experts when we have a "special needs" kitty. I keep telling them I am not a vet... :? :-D

Enjoy your day today - I hope you get your walk in. it is a gorgeous sunny day here, I think I will head on out for a walk soon too.

Nice slide down, but what the heck Maggie! How sweet on the pole toy. Maybe she wanted to leave it there in case you woke up and wanted to play all of a sudden. :lol: That's Mags, always thinking of you. :-D Have fun on your errands and have a great day Ann!

Hi Melissa, she does make me laugh every time I find her mouse pole toy in bed. It's her prize toy, so it's an honor to wake up to it! :-D

Hi Helen, thanks for sharing your method of boiling the chicken. I usually boil a fillet, an then cut it up after cooked. I like your method and am going to try it later.

Hi Michelle, I know; what is it with the yellow kitties this morning! I saw my neighbor's kitty, and it's acting fine, eating, etc., but is doing it's thing on the carpet. It's also an older kitty, about 15 or older. It looks a little thin, but she says kitty has always been slender. My neighbor works during the day, so she will take some time off work late afternoon one day this week and get her checked out.

It looks like Simon has also joined Maggie and Trixie on the yellow floor today. Nice to see Maggie coming down so hopefully, Simon will copy her and come down too!

You are so nice to help out all the neighbor's kitties. I hope the one kitty is ok and it is just a UTI and easily treated.

Still blue but kind a strange with the higher numbers all of a sudden!

Hi Georgia, so Simon, too, with the yellow. It does seem a little odd so many today are following the pattern. I'll give this a few cycles, and if no change, a dose threat will be in effect.

Isn't it interesting that it is nearly always advice sought on the peeing/pooping problems. :roll: They never seem to notice much else! :?

Hi Ann. So there was a party on the yellow floor this morning, but Maggie came down to nice blues. She's a kitty, doing her kitty thing. They like to throw us curves, to keep it interesting, huh?. :-D

Hi Ann & Tess, her poor kitty. I hope it's nothing serious. She hasn't taken her cat to the Vet in ten years. I gave her the name of my Vet and also another excellent Vet a little closer. She doesn't even have a carrier, so I'm loaning her one of mine.

Hi Barb & Checkers, yes party on the yellow floor earlier. I don't know what's up with Mags! I hope it's just the "being a cat thing"! :lol:

Hi Barb & Ella, I did get out to run errands and take a walk since she was in the highs range. She's been sleeping all day, so I expect some play time during the night!

Hope Maggie gets back to green soon, wonder if the new strips have something to do with it? I'm sure time will tell. The blues look beter than that yellow color!

I reckon you were still blue given it was on the AT Maggie
