Happy Humpday everyone!
Guess China got tired of waiting for Cinco to come visit her in the lagoon, and is going up to meet him! I fell asleep last night and forgot to set my alarm, so it's totally possible that sometime between +4.7 and +8 she went lower. BAD bean, I know, but I have lots of good reasons to be exhausted. The important part is she's ok...just higher than she should be
Another busy day (what else is there in my life lately?) Orthopedic surgeon is still fighting with my insurance to let me do physical therapy on the knee that had the surgery in March. Then ran to PetCo to try to find some kind of nail clippers that DM is better able to use. She has arthritis in both hands so badly that she couldn't use the clippers she had real well, and her kitty's nails really need a trim.
Then to the grocery store (well, actually 2), then home to put the frozen stuff away and then out to WalMart for some things for DM. She's horribly nauseous and bloated and feeling really miserable. She's had this "whatever" several times in the past, but when they've done every test in the book, they come back normal, so she just has to live with it until it goes away. It's really strange seeing an 84 year old who looks 9 months pregnant though! I'm trying to find something to help with the nausea...I sure wish they'd come up with something better than Pepto Bismal and Emetrol for nausea (OTC stuff)....if she's not better in the morning, I'll try to get her into the doctor for maybe a shot of Zophran.
Tomorrow is also pain clinic day for me, so about a 6 hour round trip drive. DM is invited, but we'll have to see how she feels in the morning. If she needs to see the doctor though, I'll have to see about rescheduling my appointment for next week. I can only go another 7 days without having the pump run dry, but I'm glad I have that 7 day "safety net" if I need it
Hope everyone has had a good Wednesday, and sending healing vines to anyone who needs them!
