Hey All Lantus Land!!!

Busy day today early morning pet sits all this weekend and into midweek. Great group of kitters to take care of...plus all the regulars falling in line too.

BUT.... I have to say I am so proud of Attie today. Friends with young kids don't visit here too often. Today we had an old friend visit, bring her girls 4yr. old twins, and we went strawberry picking. I knew Gary and Mudcat would bolt and hide, but I didn't know what Attie would do...

The girls thought he looked like a lion! And were a bit timid at first, but he walked right up to them with big happy tail waving gently and head butts. He let the girls pet him, even in places I'm not allowed to pet, with narry a claw swipe. Purring big purrs.... I think he really liked the girls...and well what little girl can resist a big orange fluffy cat! :lol:

So the girls tried to get him to play, but he really wasn't in the mood for that. I gave the girls the pure bites fish treats and he took each piece of freeze dried fish gently from their fingers. He was such a good boy today! And the girls were quite good today too.
 
OMG, hearing how sweet Atlas was with the little girls made me all teary-eyed. What a great little lion-kitty!
I have two granddaughters who act the same way with BigMac.
He's almost as good to them as Atlas was to your friend's little girls. :lol:

Their Mom just explained he is a really big kitty. ;-)

Haha! Maybe he is part lion! He is a big kitty! Funny how the bigger an animal is the more gentle they are, especially with kids. My 100 pound lab is sooo good with kids.
 
Attie you are one cool dude. Beth, that just made my day. What a great kitty to let the young ones touch and pet and give treats, It is really nice that he took the treats from their hands. way way cool Attie, you did good today.

Not too bad in the numbers dept either - here's hoping you can find the blues again tonight.
