Yesterday

Last night she had a weird spike, don't know if it was the Nulo beef and lamb she got at shot time. I will have to experiment with it. Might have to keep it for the snacks. Tomorrow super early is the consult with a possible new vet. It will be interesting to hear what she thinks.

So +3 I gave a tsp of the Nulo beef. Will see what happens. I'm thinking she is looking for a reducie soon.

+5=19% gravy with maple syrup
+5.5= 19% gravy, no syrup given
+6= 1 oz of regular meal (normal mealtime for her)
+7=no boost
+8=no boost

Looks like last night was a high before the low trick Sometimes they just have unexplainable cycles which is why we look at days/ trends not individual numbers or an occasional wacky cycle. Up now Olive, you made your point.

That weird spike you saw last night might have been the high before the low. When Neko did something odd like that it too was like a warning signal of fun times to come.

Olive is a long time below 50. I would feed higher carb as her regularly scheduled snack in order to get her up. In general, you like to keep the amount of daily calories the same. She might have gotten quite an advance in them today!

Guess I was a bit to conservative with the boosting. Now let's talk about reduction. Would .5 be to much or .25 knowing depot is a factor

If you are worried about the depot, you can always give her a BCS tonight to help drain it. Over 5 units, with that 37 and so long under 50, I'd err to a 0.5 unit decrease.
