Yesterday's action

Yep, lots of action last night. Zener broke his bounce and headed for the lagoon at full speed. I gave him a bunch of carbs and he still had a 49 so I gave him a 1 drop reduction this morning. Fortunately, I had also given him some cypro at preshot so his appy was good all night. That makes a world of difference on the bean stress level.

OT: Anne is done with the tournament and now she gets to play for a few days. And a little more on mountain geography (which I sure didn't know when I lived in flat states   ). In the mountains, altitude is everything. It's about 5 F colder per 1000 feet higher. So Phoenix is at 2000' and Flagstaff is at 7000' so we are about 25 F cooler than Phoenix. It's an alpine climate here vs Phoenix which is desert.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too. I know I miss our GA kitties. Healing vines to Tashie, Georgia's Simon. Vetty vines for Rusty. Appy vines to Rory. Have a great Monday, LL!

And don't forget to use the shopping links at the top of the page. It costs you nothing and FDMB get a kickback to pay the bills. :-D

Re: 6/10 Zener AMPS 70

That was lots of excitement yesterday. Now if Zener could just get on the surfboard and stay where he's at.

Isn't the temperature difference nice? Los Alamos is at 7500 ft.
Flagstaff would be my only choice of a town in AZ. According to the weather, your temperature is about the same as ours.
We'll be a couple of degrees warmer today. ( and still too much smoke from the nearby fire)

Nice surf last night! keep it up Zener! Tell Anne to visit Tivoli Gardens, quiet beautiful garden in the day, amusement park/carnival at night!

I've become used to sea level, we went XC skiing a few time after we move out here and had to go above 7000' to find snow. OMG what a difference form MN!

Keep up a nice surf Zener!! Thanks for the geography/weather lesson Liz! Who knew? Sounds beatiful up there, probably no humidity too.

Hi Liz. Zener has a nice blue surf going on today. If this is a bounce from last night, it's not too bad.

Thanks for the reminder to use the "SHOP" link so FDMB gets some help. I use it to access Amazon for purchases all the time.

Have a great day.

Hi Liz, are you sleepy today! So glad Zener has an appy. Such nice amps today.Surf baby surf.
I'd be gaspin' just walking in that altitude. Good luck on the race!
Have a good day!

Wow, Zener was really on a roll last night. I missed all the excitement. Congrats on the drop decrease. Looking good today, too, Zener. Interesting on the geography. Thanks for the reminder. I am about to try PetFoodDirect, but not sure if this is one that benefits LL.

Wow...work that reducie, Zener!!! Looking good today, and I'm glad to hear there is a happy appy over there. Have a great afternoon/evening, guys!

Re: 6/10 Zener AMPS 70;+1 154;+2.5 118;4.5 +165

Congrats on the reducie. A good appy always helps when they hit those lower greens.

Re: 6/10 Zener PMPS 322

I guess that the inevitable "upward slide" has occurred, but just think how great those greens were last night.

Lucky Anne, gets to be a tourist for a few days. So much to do there. Such great food, too. And the Aquavit--all those different flavorings!!

Have a good evening, Liz. Thanks for the visit,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 6/10 Zener PMPS 322

Hi, Liz, I hope Zener comes down a little tonight (but no diving!).
How nice that Anne has some free time to explore.

I hope you guys are having a good evening!

Re: 6/10 Zener PMPS 322;+1.5 299

Way to say good bye to those pinks Zener! More sliding? I hope you get a bit of sleep tonight Liz.

Interesting on the height difference for Flagstaff. We are at 800 ft but it's cooler closer to the mountains and the trees. I'm envying Anne on the desserts. I remember a very nice pastry shop in Copenhagen. :-D
