We definitely need some sun and heat but unfortunately weather forecast says we will have bad weather for at least two more days. It s so cold that i wear fleece jacket and thermo socks.
I still hope to see around 100 today. I will check again at +8 (even if she will still slide down she is sliding slowly) and she ate lunch at +5.

Bobbie you are reading my minds ;) I was thinking about banana bread but i will consider about that brownies. I am home alone all day till 12.00 PM because my BF have some football match and I dont have any work to do today so maybe I will cook and bake all day :D

Maybe I will make vegan steak tartare. Do you know steak tartare? This vegan version is last hit in Slovenia. I am vegetarian for one year but for me that version is even better (and cheaper) than the original. We made steak tartare as bread spread. If you want I can translate the recepie (you know i have time today ;) )

OMG! Iky yak, gross. Tačka was lying on a dead bird. When i came out she came to me (brom her crate) and i saw dead bird. This is cat work. He/she had broken neck. Is it possible that she killed it and than layed down on him? What? Gross. She had bloody coat (i wiped it already).
 
She must be feeling good if she's hunting. Sorry about the bird but glad to hear that she's sliding down into better numbers.

How do you make vegan steak tartar? It sounds contradictory but probably tastes wonderful.
 
I dont know if that was her work. It could be Jaka and because he really loves her, he could leave her a present. It is really weird. She is so slow and clumsy and I really doubt she killed that bird. And which cat would lie down on its prey? Only really crazy one. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I know its contradictory but its really good. I will translate recepie in an hour and you could try it.
 
I figured out what happened. Birds have a nest on a roof exactly above her crate. Maybe one birdy (It was not adult bird) fell down and she saw that and than she finnished work (without teeth). Now she dont wanna go in crate but i dont know why she was lying on dead birdy earlier.

When Leda still hunted he liked to sleep with the things he killed, I guess he liked knowing he could eat it later maybe. Maybe lying on the bird made Tačka feel like a hunter, even if she didn't catch it herself. Ugh though, dead birdy in the crate sounds pretty yucky.

If translating the recipe is trouble you don't need to, but if you don't mind I'd be curious to try it.

I like challenges. I will translate I just need to eat something before (because of bird i couldnt eat earlier and i am soo hungry now) :D

Well if bird fell from nest it is possible that Tačka was the killer. And she seems proud of herself and dont wanna go in crate. I suspect her now.
 
Vegan steak tatar:

Ingredients:
½ cup cooked (already cold) brown or green salted lentil (i buy already cooked lentil in a can)
½ cup sun dried tomatoes in oil (you should rinse oil as much as you can)
½ of small onion
1 clove of garlic
1 teaspoon of mustard
½ teaspoon red pepper powder
1 steaspoon of capers (you can give more if you like capers)
1 teaspoon olive oil
fresh parsley
cumin powder
pepper

You dont need to ad salt because ingredients are salty enough. Mix all ingredients in a blender and Ta daaaaaaaa. You have vegan steak tatar ;)
 
Sara, heads up, that blue seems to be falling, she looks to be clearing the bounce, make sure you get a +1, looks like she has grabbed her towel and board and is heading for the lagoon.:)
Do you have enough supplies for tonight in case she decides to keep you busy?

No need to be scared you test enough and you know how to handle her, remember this is what you are aiming for :cool::bighug::bighug:

I'm popping out now, have to walk my dogs.

If she is lower or the same at +1 start by feeding her some LC to encourage her to surf.

BTW my BF says that I am so calm and full of good advices when someone need help with their cat (and they usually call me offcourse), but I behave like lunatic when is something wrong with Tačka. o_O And this is absolutely true :banghead: I start to act like i dont know anything about cats and i fall into panic. This is just awful...
 
Hi Sara! You can do this just fine....you've done it before, you can do it again. If you get a low number, just take slow deep breaths then do what you know how to do. This IS scary sometimes but this is what you've been working to see. HUGS!!

It is different when it is your own cat. But remember that you know so much, and you can handle this. Tačka is looking great!
 
no panic. She is going up...I think i missed lowest point again. She is having nadirs really late i think. Maybe around +10 +11. I must test her more.
 
She is messing with me today. 3 hours in practically same numbers so i cant know if she would go up or down. If i will sleep tonight or not. And i even dont know how often i should test her. My naughty girl.
