Yesterday http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=72808 was a run into low blues and possible green toe touch as I tested a 102 and rising an hour after a 111. And as expected, that meant a bounce last night.

Neko's pattern is fairly predictable after getting green, and today is an expected black start. Last time it was "Hi", so this is better. She was in a foul mood this morning, and I woke up to the alarm and not hungry kitty cat alarms. She was grumpy when Theo got too near and I got a swipe as a result. Time for toenail trims.

After this morning's numbers we'll ease off on the pokies, but I think things are starting to improve. We just had a good scritching session, her eyes are looking better and she is curled up at DH's feet. All P's are in place, but the only play was a whack a thon session with Theo, not sure that was really counts.

Things are sunny here, so I'll get in some gardening and see if I can convince Neko to join me. She's only done one yard patrol so far.

Sending healing vines to Leo and Roni's DA and all the other kitties and beans that need it.

I hope she feels better....poor Neko. Did you paint her nails green? Just in case? :lol:

+6 428 coming down. I know I said a pokie break, but just couldn't resist :lol:

I'm due to give my vet some numbers from testing again. Last time I saw her she said she didn't like using the spreadsheet (she has seen them before) and would rather just get the raw numbers and times. She also said "not every day, just the day you do a curve" - I wonder what day that is? :lol: :lol: I think I'm a member of testaholics anonymous too. I write the data down in my log book, but don't have them electronically so i'm trying to figure out if I could do a macro from the spreadsheet and generate them. Or maybe I'll just photocopy my logbook.

@Marje - I think I need a pair of black and red patience pants now instead of the yellow ones. I know, there will come a time when yellow will look high. At least I hope so.

@Pip - yup, nobody else up here today. I keep telling Neko she has to go down to find more kitties to play with. If her pattern remains true, tonight will be more interesting.

Hi, Wendy! Neko has some company in the highs today with Jinx. He had a great run last night but bounced today. Hope she's feeling better and I hope she comes down soon!

I hope the bounce clears quickly.

I count whack-a-thons as play (sort of). Gabby is currently yelling and swatting at Gizmo because he's pestering her. I'm amused.

I wonder why your vet doesn't like the ss and just wants one days worth of data???? Very odd. My vet thought the ss was wonderful. Know what you mean about the testaholic club - I think Vyktor and I still hold the one day record but, if they don't mind their testing, who can resist seeing what's going on inside :lol:

PMPS 409, finally starting to get rid of that bounce. We should be seeing other better colours tonight. Once Neko got to the lower reds she started feeling better. There was a minor scary event with me doing the vacuum cleaning. Normally she goes outside, but didn't want to as the neighbours out the back were having a rather loud party. She hung out in the solarium and then under the bed, but came out at dinner time. She's much more relaxed now. Party is over, time for a yard patrol.

@Joe - looks like Joe has already moved to the pink floor and hopefully Neko will follow him downward.

@Sienne - bounce does seem to be fading. Sounds like Gizmo is to Gabby what Theo is to Neko - cute!

@Helen - I'm hoping the next test will show her coming down.

Serryn - I guess some people prefer numbers to pictures. It was the way they were trained. I think the vet was trying to be "helpful" to not make it too much work to show the data for all days. But I agree, who can resist knowing what's going on inside. Sometimes I have to restrain myself by saying "what would I do differently if I knew the number?"
