So husband has been up in er with his mother all night. Just got word they are admitting her. She was just diagnosed with c. diff and went to er with complications (severe dehydration and weakness) it was decided due to her age and her potassium and oxygen being low to play it safe and admit. Please send prayers...love...good vibes...good energy whatever you feel comfortable with we will take it!

Its first time husband has been on own doing this. Decision was made based on LM needed testing since I had just given insulin when it was decided to go to er. He cannot test LM so he went to er. I usually handle all emergencies in family. I am caretaker and know more about current medications...issues...etc... He has been pretty nervous all night checking in with me

You can always feed high carb and abort the cycle - in case of (God forbid) future emergencies.

Thankyou! I know I could've done that but it is ok. If it was only choice I totally would've done that. Hospital is minutes away and I told him if we needed to switch we could so it was a thought in my head just in case. Only cause medical history wise I know more about his mom...heck I know more about him than he does LOL
