Yesterday, Jack's PMPS value was 58 so I didn't dose him. At PMPS +3 it was 91.

Today's AMPS value was 248 and his AMPS+6 value was 91.

So glad it wasn't in the 20's or 30's!! I will keep up the monitoring through the week.

We are still struggling a bit with getting blood from ears, but he is so cooperative it breaks my heart to keep sticking him, but I keep on trying.

I cannot thank you all enough for helping me through this episode.

Awesome!! Looks like this is definitely a more safe dose for Jack, he had a really nice progression today :) Now hopefully he will work the dose and safely achieve some blues and dark greens :D

It’s true what everyone says about the ears “learning” to bleed, once it’s routine for Jack it will get easier and easier for you and him.

Mowgli was diagnosed at the beginning of March and he started living with me mid-March. When I first started testing his blood I was a disaster! Hitting his vein, piercing through his ear, not getting enough blood the first time, the list goes on! Poor boy looked like Swiss cheese, but took it like a champ! (Ok Swiss cheese might be an exaggeration, but seriously so many pokes) Now, I can wake up at 3am and test him in a two-four minute time frame for a quick check if I need to and fall right back to sleep if everything is ok. It’s shocking how fast your skills will progress.

For now you’re doing such a great job, and soon Jack won’t be a homemade Swiss cheese :P
 
Much better numbers today. You're doing a great job with the testing. One thing I did with Furball when she was first diagnosed was to make test time a time to give her some loving before and after the test so it wasn't stressful for her.

Final numbers for the night PMP2S + 2 = 268.

For sure Jack the Cat gets some loving. Funny thing is in middle of the night, he comes up to me and loves on me..whisker kisses are the best in the middle of the night.
