Good morning Lantus Land. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Lauren and Mark as their most beloved Charlie Bear crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday to join GAs Cole and Sadie and all the LL GAs. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as we do all of our friends grieving for their babies: MJ, Roni, and Linda. Healing vines to the kitties and beans who need them and to Sienne's DS.

Look who's back...my little diving girl. She had a lovely blue cycle last night and then just got a nice little second dip for AMPS. Mike said "you better do a +1" and I said "but it was a dip, not a dropping number". But...knowing that 99.9% of the time he's right, I did a +1 :lol: :lol: And he was.....right!!! She hasn't done this in a long time and I don't know if this is still the influence from the 1u or she's working solely off the sk1u that I reduced her to last night but she is rockin' today! cat_pet_icon She and Tobey are jumping in and out in the pillows on our bed and every once in a while, Tobey pops his head up from behind the pillows and all you see are those big, beautiful eyes :lol: :lol: :lol:

We're so happy to see Gracie having nice cycles again. Thank you, MJ, for "fixing" her graph so it didn't look quite as bad as I thought it might...but still...the yellow area is undeniable!!

Teddi's dental is scheduled for June 23rd. She's off the bupe and almost done with the clavamox. Paws crossed she will be fine until then.

I'll be checking into condos shortly. I want to jump in the shower and grab some breffis before another test. Have a lovely day.

Ok...got her steady....now for onset!

Oh...I forgot to tell you all...the babies learned to fly and left last weekend. The big one went first and then we watched as the mama tried to coax the little one out to fly. He'd get up on the nest and beat his wings....finally he flew into a shrub near the nest. Then a cactus wren came up and he flew over by our window so I went to pick him up and put him back in the shrub and he flew off into the mesquite tree in the yard. The mama has been going around feeding them....she feeds them still for up to 40 days!!! So no one got pushed out of the nest!!!

gracie's at it again - sweet little zoom zoom zoom! so hard to pinpoint the just right dose for her, isn't it.

our chickadee babies are hatched - the parents going in and out a zillion times a day bringing in little worms. hoping i can catch them leave the bird house this year!

Hi Devon: hoping to get her to surf here....she really likes the 40s. We've missed you on our condo lately! Hope all is well besides Ms. Mocha's eye...poor baby.

Julie: yup....right back to business; I also hope we can find a dose soon. Cool on the chickadees!!! I'd love to see them.

What nice numbers for Gracie today! She keeps you on your toes for sure.

Love to hear about your baby birds. It is amazing to watch something like that from the very beginning.

Hi Marje, what a nice day for Gracie! So maybe this is the magic dose, anti-jynx!! That is some good news that Teddi can have her dental. I always get a kick out of Tobey and Gracie playing and goofing around! Have a nice evening.

And Mike said this morning "I think things are changing!" I dearly love his optimism but Gracie's liver just decided to reel our hope back in!!! Even still, she's had four really, really nice cycles b2b and I hope she just stays away from the color we will not mention.

Melissa: it was so very neat to watch them from when mama started building the nest until the babies flew off!! How lucky we feel!

Ann: I hope this is a dose we can stay with and she'll do well on. Tobey and Gracie are a riot, those two!!!

What amazing numbers for Gracie!!I am so happy for you!!--Hope this will be your breakthrough dose & Gracie will do fantastic.
We have a baby bird tree in front & feeders are in back of house.
Last year we had mockingbird babies & an attack Momma :lol:
This year we have cardinal babies, that the Dad bird feeds!!!! Boy can they chirp!!

Hi Marjorie

We have a pair of little green herons that nest in our pines every year and feed at the lake that joins our property with the neighbors and we have a pond too so I guess we must be a great place to raise kids for they have made a nest in the same place every year for the last 5 yrs its really neat :-D I have never seen baby hummingbirds that must be really special I do feed them but would love to see young ones :razz: Looks like Gracie kept you very busy today

OUCH Gracie!!!! So four beautiful cycles with no bounce and now you decided to make up for all four in one number???? YIKES girl!! You are not allowed up there....you have been in cahoots with Gabby I see! :lol: :lol:

Roni: I would love to see baby cardinals...we have a ton of cardinals and by the time I see the babies, they are almost as big as the parents but the parents are still feeding them.

Lisa: that is so neat on the herons!!! What majestic birds!

Natalia: Thank you....so are we....one of the most beautiful areas in AZ. We had always thought that after we retire ..many years...that we might consider moving there or having a summer home there. It's devastating.

Looks like Gracie and Champ have been canoodling!! I'm going to chalk Champ's high numbers up to the commotion in the house with the fan installations and Penny (Champ's rat terrier cousin) visiting. Champ has no problem at all with Penny and will actually lie on the same bed with her, but it's more excitement than he's used to so maybe that's the reason for the upchucking and high numbers.

I just know Gracie will head for the lower decks. She's NOT pretty in pink!!! (though beautiful in every other way).
