Well Carolyn, you were right, today might stink....

managed to (get out of bed) and test/shoot on time. PS wasn't bad (302), but unfortunately, he peed on the carpet overnight. He used to do this regularly but hasn't in a LONG time. I'm not sure if this is from high sugar or he was acting out because he could smell the food inside the timed feeder (set to go off at 4am). Yes, he would do that!

Then he started drinking again, which he rarely does anymore because he gets daily LRS and veryWET food. So I gave him partial LRS @+1.

Then DH left dog food down, behind the baby gate, AND LEFT THE ROOM (a HUGE SIN). around +2.5 DD pulled Cody off the bowl and retrieved a dog kibble from his mouth. He probably only got a few pieces, but the timing SUCKS. After yelling, I calmly explained AGAIN that dog food is NEVER left down unsupervised, not for a second. Why is this so hard to understand? Sorry, had to vent somewhere....

anyway, here's the summary:
PS 302 (7u @7:30a, 1/4 c food)
+1 --- (100 mls LRS)
+2 345/ 378 (average 362)
+4 290 (scant 1/4c food)
+5 ---- napping like an angel, snoring quietly, ("just feed me and I won't pee on the carpet Mom")

+12 297 PMPS 7units, then 1/4 cup food and 2 pills

+4 308 (1/4cup+ food) bedtime - no overnight food tonight

That +4 isn't bad. Maybe Cody will really like Lev. Sorry about the dog food. Our droolers never leave a bite in their bowls, so that's one thing I don't have to worry about. Good thing your DD was on duty.

No stress, no stress at all.. These are early days for Lev so if he gets the dogs food, it's better it happens now than later lol
I actually like this, I thought he'd be higher by now. My plan is we're bumping after 4 full cycles of this dose, so if we don't see an enormous increase, (and I have no reason to expect we will) I recommend 7.5u in the AM. Have a wonderful day!

7 1/2 u sounds good to me. However, if I should wake up to an unusual PS number, like low 200's, or 100's what do I do?

OT:
Tenderfoot just got back from a follow-up check- vet says his blood work is better again today, and it is a miracle he survived because his numbers were scary bad last week. I immediately gave credit to the hundreds of you who said a quick prayer for him (& me)-THANKS!

PMPS @7:23p ---298 (7units given) 1/4 cup yummy food and 2 pills.

This exact 12/12 thing is instilling some intense discipline in a chronologically challenged bean. I'm pretty proud of myself. Only one minor screw up in 2 days (75% :lol: )
