Yesterday's Adventures in Waste Elimination

I got my green last night! I was pretty happy. Now I'm confusing Cinco by telling him to surf blue today! He knows he's supposed to keep hollering at China to come join him on the beach, and they're to stay there, safely, until China's Mama and I get home. We'll see how obedient he is. :rolleyes:

So far today, all pee has been deposited IN the box (barely, but it's in).

Minka's appy was good but not great this morning. I am about to do her squids, and then I need to get dressed to go. Her acupuncture vet called yesterday to move her appointment forward from 3:30 to 1:30, which is fine with me as it gets me out of Sac ahead of traffic.

Just got interrupted by Harvey, ready for his pills. Actually, he was ready for his love session, but that involves giving him his pills, so same thing! :p

WE GOT RAIN last night! Not a lot, but everything is a little damp, including the air. Of course, it's my fault - I washed my car yesterday! We could get a little more today, which is wonderful!!!

I hope Cinco surfs safely while you're out. Yay for Minka eating. I hope her appointment goes well. Yay for rain.
 
Thanks for visiting us, Elise, Amy, Liz, Ann, Wendy and Carla. Now I'm wondering if Cinco got all his juice this morning. When I took his +3, I got a 152 on the first try, and I was sure that was wrong, so tested again and got 125. In hindsight, I should have tested a third time, because two hours later he was 183 (yes, I did test again and he was 190). The positive, if there is one, is that I didn't have to worry about his safely while we were gone, but I was worrying about why he went up and not down! Hopefully he'll do better tonight.

The rain continued until mid afternoon, and then the sun came out and made it muggy. By the time we got home, it was hot and stuffy in the house. I just took Cinco's outfit off to let him cool down, but I'm keeping one eye on him. So far he's just had a brief bath and now he's sleeping. I'll put it back on before I go to bed, or if I see him messing with his hot spots. His appy was excellent, in spite of the warm weather.

Minka was good at the vet, and to and from. She was hungry when we got home and ate the snack I offered. She also ate all but about two bites of her dinner. :) Sasha only ate about half of hers, but that may be because she's tired of the same two flavors over and over (I'm sticking with what Minka has proven to eat). I may offer her some FF when it cools down a little more. One of the Abys had a soft, smelly poo over the side of the lb in the guest room.

If I had to guess which, it's be Sasha, so I'll be trying to give her more Forti Flora for a while.

It's back to hot, hot, hot tomorrow and beyond - 100s by Friday.

Ick, ick, ick. The calendar may say summer doesn't start for another 10 days, but I say it's here!
 
Cinco dear.....no need to go up any more....momma is home....come back down to da blue floor!!! Hang out on the shore and you and Skooter can send messages to each other....or of course, you could join Skoots in the lagoon for a swim!
