When Furball was on Tresaderm it made her BG go up. This is what I use for Furball because it doesn't have a steroid in it.

He's also now getting RenaPlus gel and I just did a google search to see if it contained sugar and here's what I found. I've already asked my vet about this.

The combination of both of these could be the issue, for sure.

Verified Reply - According to the manufacturer, for a ½ tsp dose of 2 mEq potassium, sugar content in the formulation is < 5mg. Total carbohydrates are slightly higher (approximately 50mg), but the carbohydrates are in the form of indigestible cellulose. Administration according to label dose is unlikely to alter blood glucose. Please speak with your veterinarian with any additional questions or concerns.

Heard back from my vet. She said to discontinue and order the powdered version and she'll give me a credit since it was her mistake...
