Looks like the big guy had a blue-green surf overnight. Starting green at AMPS, but may be starting a bit of a bounce at +4.

AMPS 83 16th cycle @1.25u, 1 PP, 1/8 zantac, 1/4 ondansetron, 1.3oz 10%

~3 89, 1PP, 3mg Zobaline, 0.4oz 10%
~4 168, 0.65oz 10%

Our forecast today at 7000 feet is for near record high temps, 87 degrees F and 2 hours south of us in the desert, 112. Beans have a busy morning with lots of running around, and the kitters have the right idea with lots of napping.

Wishing everyone a good Friday!

Nice day for Zener!!   I believe it on the 112. We have been running in the upper 90's, which is over 20 degrees above normal. Crazy weather.

Hope you have a great day!!

It looks like Mr Liver returned from vacation and freaked at all the green.

@Devon - you are so right, if this is a bounce, it's an improvement for the mighty Z. ;-)

@Melissa & Mr T - guess it must be hot all over the place now. June 1 is the average first day of 80s in Flagstaff, so we are right on the mark. Zener seems to be on the up elevator, just like the temps. :?

@Roni - thanks for your words of encouragement! He sure had a nice cycle last night and a good start to this one.

Hope everyone is staying cool for those of you in the hot climates, and if autumn/winter has fallen where you live, we hope you are staying toasty. This afternoon if full of laying low out of the heat and napping.

Sounds like a good day to be napping with the kitters. We had hot yesterday but not too bad today. Hope Zener's appy is okay today.

Re: 6/1 Zener AMPS 83;+1 113;+2 108;+3 89;+4 168;~5 223;~10

Our high today was 63. I don't know how you can function in your heat!!

Interesting day for the Z man. I think he'll be right back down to green soon.
Thanks for visiting Rusty and for your concern. I think he's OK. We're watching him closely.

Have a great weekend, and I hope your weather cools off.

Ella & Rusty

p.s. I think the reason for the beveled side of the needle being up is because it goes in and pulls out more smoothly.

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268

That +3 looked so promising and then...what the heck!! He was just teasing you!!

Thanks for stopping by Champ's condo with your well wishes. It meant a lot to me to know all my "friends" were there to keep me company!!

Our temps have been in the 100s for a little bit now. I am so NOT ready for this!!!

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268

It got close to 90 at our house today, and we all were pretty lethargic!

@Ann & Maggie - lots of great napping performances this afternoon. Zener's appy comes and goes, not too shabby this AM cycle.

@Ella - thanks for the info on the needle bevel, we learn new things in LL all the time! We have paws crossed for your green prediction. Our weather seems warm to us but still cools down to the low 40s at night, good for sleeping!

@Patty - yep on that +tease, Mr LIver still has trust issues. Glad all was smooth like butter with the Champ! Ugh on the 100s - temperature, not BGs.

Hope everyone has a drama-free Friday evening.

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268

Inserting bevel up allows the sharp tip to enter the skin first. You haven't been??? ;-)

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268

Yikes no! It all seems to be going okay though. Maybe I do that and don't know it. I'll need to wear the lighted headlamp to tell.

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268

It is probably not as significant with these tiny needles as it is a larger one that you give fluids with. For giving squids, having the bevel up also allows better flow.

Here is some info: Injecting Insulin

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268;+1.5 263

Zener having some good numbers lately! looks like they all want to hang on the higher yellow floors tonight!

Thank you Marje, I've never read this page before. There is always something new to learn and it is amazing what a wealth of info is here on the FDMB! :YMHUG:

Re: 6/1 Zener PMPS 268;+1.5 263;+3 214;+5 104

Nothing like a Zener slide & dive. Looks like his AM and PM cycles have switched.
PMPS 268, 17th cycle @1.25u, 2/3 PP, 1/8 zantac, 1/4 ondansetron, 1.45oz 10%, 1/32t miralax
+1.5 263, 0.8oz 10%

+3 214, 0.4oz 10%
~3.5 0.4oz 10%
+5 104, 1PP, 0.55oz 10%

@Pip - he has been having some good numbers interspersed with bounces, though not those BLECH numbers we used to see all the time. I guess he decided he'd had enough of the view from the yellow floor and wants me to stay up watching bad TV a little longer.

Nothing on my agenda for the AM, so looks like I'll be up for another test. ~O) @-) ~O)

ETA 130, 0.5oz 10%

Sorry i missed you yesterday, but Zenner is doing beautifully. Don't you love it when the bounces turn into dribbles! :-D :-D I hope you got to bed at a decent hour.

Interesting on you temps, here it is cool at the lower elevations (coastal) and hot up in the mountains (inland.)
