An uneventful start for Trixie, although that AMPS is creeping a bit too close to the yellow floor for my taste. I'm trying on my patience pants in hopes that these preshot number come down own their own...I just don't know how I can work +8 snacks in there on a regular basis without falling into unhealthful exhaustion myself or causing issues at work, so I'm really hoping she can get these numbers down without having to take that step.

Can't believe it's already Wednesday!!

Nice to see Trixie already coming down from the ceiling. Does Trixie do well with an automatic feeder? That is the only way I can manage Simon during the middle of the night. there is no way I can get up and feed and then go back to sleep. I also use the feeder when I am at work. Of course it doesn't work well if you have other cats that would beat Trixie to the feeder and eat it before she gets any.

Yeah, the problem I have with an automatic feeder is my 5 civvies, and the fact that I have to juggle 3 different diets amongst the whole crowd of 6. Long story on that (food sensitivities, CRF, FD, etc), but suffice it to say that I spend a LOT of time sitting on the floor, "managing" feline meal times....

I also can't separate them at night...I can only imagein the mayhem it would cause if they didn't have free run of the house. And Trixie gets VERY stressed when she's confined to one room for any reason.

It's definitely a balancing act...

Good morning! Hopefully Trixie will solve the issue on her own. I have no ideas on the +8 feeding. It would be very difficult with that much going on. Hope you have a great day!

This girl is busy!!!! I'm amazed at how much she does with such a small amount of insulin these days...

I hope her PSs will come down for you, too. I think AMPS is the last one to come down. But what a lovely cycle for MIss Trixie Cat!!
 
Sounds like your hands are full at home w/all your kitties and dietary needs.

Sometimes I use "play" to bring down Curry's preshots. I've experimented w/engaging her in play at different times. Sometimes the play brings her down and sometimes it just flattens her out. Curry had the +8 feeder snack down when she was isolated. Now that she is "free" she forgets about it. Silly kitty.

Trixie is looking very good.
 
What a nice set of numbers already tonight!!! I had no idea you had some many kitties running around your house. Goodness!! And I thought I had it bad. :lol:

Sorry the feeding is so tricky! Ultimately, you do the best you can and you figure out what will work for both of you. Hope you get some rest this evening!
 
They're a lot of work, but they're well worth it. Besides, what would I do with all my spare time if I didn't have 6 cats to watch while they eat :lol: ?
