Another "low key" day so far here, thank goodness! Trix's appy is pretty happy, but MamaBean still has to hold the plate - or at least offer the plate. She actually will now eat an OK amount with the plate sitting in front of her, but she still won't go to the plate on her own. But, at this point, just the fact that she is eating pretty well, especially since it looked like the p-titis was flaring and her happy was dropping off a few days ago, works for me.
Her numbers are pretty consistent...she starts off with pre-fuds numbers that make me wonder, but then Mr P kicks it into gear and takes her to the lagoon. I continue to be very thankful that I can still keep insulin out of our crazy mix for the moment.
She really hasn't needed many kibbles to encourage eating. What I've been doing is offering the wet food without any kibble enhancement, and when she seems like she's running out of steam, I'll toss just a few kibbles on top to see if I can convince her to take another few bites. Sometimes it works; other times, it almost seems to confuse her that there are kibbles on her food.
Gotta squeeze a quick pre-work workout in...DH and I had a huge plate of nachos for dinner last night and I am feeling them this morning. Have a great day, LL!
