Good morning LL! Sunny yellow today and I will take it!
The vet started Tarragon on Metronidazole again for his diarrhea yesterday. One dose and he is already feeling much better. I talked with the vet about the problem and she said that she has dogs and cats who are on a small dose of Metronidazole all the time. She said to give him a full dose until he is firmed back up and then give him 1/2 to 1/4 of a tablet daily after that. I have researched the drug and it doesn't appear that there are any side effects with long term use, but let me know if you have heard anything different.
Woke up an hour before the alarm with Tarragon on my chest putting his paws over my eyes trying to see if I was awake yet. Lots of bumping and purring. He obviously feels much better because he wanted his breffis and wanted it now! He sat nice for testing and shot, then meowed at me while I tried to get their box cleaned and their food ready. He is definitely feeling better since he layed on his back in the bedroom while I was blow drying my hair. When he is really feeling good, he lays on his back with his legs spread eagled. Silly kitty. He didn't even flinch when Charlie, the labrador, came over and licked his face. What would we ever do without our fur babies?
Hope you all have a great day!
