Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty is a little higher than I would like this morning, but at least his shots appear to have been good ones (last night and this morning). He woke us up with the birds this morning again. In this warm weather we have the porches open and you can hear sounds from outdoors. Rusty enjoyed his breakfast, his lung treat, his schmooze. Later we will go outside. It's another warm day, with sunshine!
I am no worse for wear after yesterday's adventure on Ampersand Mt. in unseasonable heat. Some pics below. Today is the opening of our Farmers' Market and we are about to head out to it. This year we have purchased a 1/2 share in a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm named Fledging Crow, started 5 years ago by 2 young guys who met in the Peace Corps in Equador. They have wonderful veggies and some fruits and we are excited to be able to come every week to the market and simply choose what we would like from their very fresh produce. We bought the 1/2 share last winter, so everything is paid for!!! (the best part!)
bbl with a report.
Sending our sympathy to Jack and Jane, whose Emperor Karre is at the Bridge today, and also to Susie, whose Remy is also at the Bridge. Fly free, sweet kitties.
