Yesterday, Neko played a trick on me at the end of her 18 hour cycle.

5/31 Recap:

Back to boring blues for Neko. I'm going to make sure her depot is back on track, then decide what to do about this dose. Theoretically it should have been disrupted by the back to back 18/17 hour shot cycles.

Neko has been an active girl (for her of late). She was outside for a while after dinner last night and as usual wanted out as soon as we came home from rowing this morning. She's been doing a bit more play than usual - more than once a day. I bought her some steps yesterday so she can get into the chair in the solarium, but so far she's only used them to go down.

Cloudy day today, rain is promised in the near future. I hope so, the garden needs it. I'm due to go down and water the plants in the community sharing garden too, but I don't want to go down there as some idiot(s) vandalized the tomato plants I put in a week ago.:mad:

It's great to hear Neko is being so active. She must be feeling good. Sorry someone vandalized the tomato plants. Some people are so selfish.

So nice Neko is getting around more. I think they like the nice weather. Toby is wanting to go out more since the weather is better. Sorry about your garden. Some people just have to destroy everything.

Hope you get the rain and *#+%*}#£*{^*# to those pathetic people how trashed your tomato plants. They have no moral compass.
Love the idea of Neko's little steps

Neko must be feeling pretty good to be increasing her activity. You are such a great Mama, Wendy, getting those steps to facilitate Neko getting into her solarium chair, I'm sure she'll eventually use them to go both up and down :):cat: I'm serious when I say, in my next life, I want to be one of your kitties.

What is it with some people, destroying your plants? I really can't understand how their brains work, assuming they have such a thing

Are you sure it was a person?
I've had critters steal my entire tomato plants in the past. I don't know if it was a raccoon or rabbit or squirrel....
but something stole 2 of them and chomped on the 3rd.
I didn't know any of them would eat a tomato plant.

Neko's working in the blue so maybe some :D tonite.

Curses on the tomato vandalizer, and paws crossed for rain. Neko seems to have weathered the 18 hour cycles and recovered quickly! Did the beans recover from the long row as quickly?

When we lived in Brooklyn some "destroyer" used to frequently go down our block and pull up a plant in each of the barrel planters in front of the houses. It must have been late at night, because no one ever saw him/her.

Yo Neko, thanks for hosting tomorrow's full moon party. It will be great on that Skyride, even if it rains. We all know that the moon is there.

Super WCR for Miss Neko and she's comin down the BG trail as well!! @Wendy&Neko Wendy, LOL on the water buffalo yak and camel!:smuggrin: About those missing tomato plants, I wonder the same as Rhiannon, that could be bears, raccoons or the dreaded gray squirrels! As I recall, up around Stanley Park we saw weird looking Black (but really Gray) Squirrels, are they as naughty as our pesky non-native Gray ones? Wouldn't they make an excellent type of cat food LOL! Ducking and running before @Vyktors Mum yells at me again ...:smuggrin:

Hey Neko, gettin excited for tomorrow's Strawberry Moon Party-see ya ~ Tiger :cat:

So great to see Neko's being a fun loving imp. Numbers schnumbers when she's discovering all that activity again. Oh, yeah. I know. Get to green little girl.

Well, we had about 10 minutes of light showers so far. Maybe later. Forecast for "rain" has changed to "showers", not a good sign. Kitties don't mind - the solarium is still their hang out.

Carla, Elise, Peg, Bron, Lori, Rhiannon, Anne, Ella, Ruth, Marilyn - I think the Duralactin is helping Neko. However, I have noticed her still drinking a bit more. I've booked her for b/w with regular vetty on Wednesday. She's due anyway for 6 month b/w. The tomato plants were definitely vandalized. I had tied them to stakes, some were broken, some pulled and strewn around, not eaten. The pepper plants right beside them were untouched. Unfortunately the garden is right beside a walking path across from a school and sometime Friday night was probably when the damage was done. I've seen photos of the damage.

@Anne & Zener (GA) - Da beans, not so much recovered. I thought I was doing OK, but after today's row (not a hard one), I'm feeling it worse than usual. A lot of the other people in our group were dragging today too.

Flat as a pancake today Miss Neko. Sorry to hear about the tomato plants, I abhor
vandalism, so senseless and these people are walking amongst us.
Hope your muscles soon recover from your exertions at the weekend, take a nice long soak in the bath to see if that helps.

I agree that Neko seems to be all over the disruption to her schedule. I hope you and DH recover quickly, too.

Phooey on those vandals. I've never understood the ignorance and lack of decency some people exhibit. That sort of person is a waste of oxygen.
