We start this morning out with a 373, 363 @ +2. What a past 36 hours ohmygod_smile ... we have had trampoline activity, bungee jumping, some cliff diving - all of which equates to "rubber kitty". Somehow we managed to avoid the scuba diving. Kudos to Mannie for missing that activity. :-D We are aiming for stability today - nice and steady. I'd love a bit lower, maybe a nice slow clear... Com'on Mannie - you can do it! You're my hero!

WCR: It has been a great morning for Mannie. Breffis was a hit - it usually is: member of the clean plate club. He was overjoyed when he stuck his nose outside and discovered that it was not raining, and has made three trips around the yard: premises are secure. Catnip toys have been given a workout: chewing, slobbering, rubbing, slept on, tossed, corralled, hidden, secured from the civvies. All the beans and civvies are in their desired spots: interior has been secured and now off for some major I-) I-) I-) All is well in Mannie-land.

Have a great day everyone!

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, +2 363

I saw that HI in your title last night and my heart sunk for you (we were headed in that direction as well...only difference, I chose not to catch it-lol). Im really glad Mannie was able to get out of it quickly and it didnt seem to affect him too terribly.

Hope things slooooooooooowly go down and stay steady, if just for a bit.

Thank you so much Michelle for always taking the time to check on us and offer encouraging words. I just wanted you to know it makes a difference in our day.

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, +2 363

THX Carolyn! Yep - yesterday was one for the books. Today I too hope for slow and steady, down a little. Those HI readings are a heart breaker for sure.

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, +2 363

Hey Mannie, Let's see if you can give your mamabean what she most desires: a gradual decline to good numbers. A good play in the garden with your catnip mice (and other mice, if you have any) sure beats bungee jumping. I'm gonna check back on you later, pal. So keep up that slow, steady pace!

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, +2 363

Hey Mannie, much nicer numbers today than last night. :o That "Hi" was scary! I think it's time to give your mom a break. It's fun to confuse them, but they do deserve to relax a little. 'sides if you make her pull anymore hair out she'll be bald! Tess

Michelle, never a dull moment over here. I hope the nice slow descent continues (anti-jinx). Cool here today too, the marine layer is back. Unfortunately, that means a good day to get some weeding done. :?

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, +2 363, +4 295

Hi Ann, and thanks! Did not care for the HI, and over 600, at all - scary to say the least, even when one knows that it will clear.

Weeding... hmmmm.... i should be doing that too. marine layer this AM, sun supposedly this afternoon, nasty nasty storm headed in for tomorrow. oh well. phhfftttt on the weeding - think I will go walk up to the local coffee shop instead.

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, +2 363, +4 295

Whenever in doubt, walk to the coffee shop! Sounds like a recipe for success.

Hey Ella - yep, works for me every time... it's a 3 mile trek total. not too bad. and watched the cloud layer thicken on the way back. hmmmm - wonder if we will get that sun this afternoon.

Mannie headed on out after a 2 hour snooze (the life!), to check out the yard, roll in the grass, rub his face and whiskers in the moss. yuk - why do they do that... I hope he doesn't eat any cuz then we will get the grass pukus in the house. never outside, always in the house - on the carpet.

I didn't mention yesterday that the "rubber kitty" effect might last up to 72 hours, did I?
Yes, the rebound can last a few days. As someone with lots of wisdom once say... Mannie got there, he'll get there again. Patience... can catch up on some zzzzzz while you can!

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, PMPS 306

hi Helene - and THX. Rubber kitty is pink surfin' today - kinda expected that. His bouncing yesterday was so awful - very rubbery(!!) that I expect it will take a little time to clear. Time to remember my mantra: patience patience patience...

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, PMPS 306, +2 286

Hi Ann! Thank goodness for that. I had just hoped that for today he would settle down, maintain, and perhaps start a nice gentle descend. I seem to have gotten what I had hoped for, so far. Not that I don't want the lower numbers - just that the 36 hours prior to today were just unreal: bad bad rubber kitty, as Helene so adequately described. maybe Mannie read his posts. cat_pet_icon and :thumbup and we will get there.

pmps +2 286 sloooooooooowwwww descend.

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, PMPS 306, +2 286, +4 237

Paws crossed!

Forgot to mention - I have fed this cycle: pmps main meal, 1 tsp at +1, +2 (cooked chicken), and +4.

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 373, PMPS 306, +2 286, +4 237

Much flatter. Let's hope Mannie decides he likes a more even road vs. all those hills and valleys.

Good evening Sienne!

I sure hope so... clear has been slow. probably a good thing for him today. ?? Definitely better than all those hills and valleys. :-D
