Good Morning everyone! Happy Monday!
I went to the beach yesterday morning and enjoyed a nice walk. It was beautiful and not terribly busy - although there seem to be more people there this late in the year than there were last year - possibly because it was Sunday morning? When I left the parking lot was full...and lots of people were walking out there with their stuff - although the beaches close at 11 a.m. on the weekends and then re-open at 5 for people who want to enjoy the sunset. Everyone was being nice and were socially distancing. I do see an occasional person wearing a mask - but it's pretty hot out there and with the breeze walking would be pretty challenging wearing a mask. I believe that sunshine and fresh air - especially good circulation aka breeze keeps the virus away - and it appears that over time the virus has mutated to the point where it's losing it's potency - let's hope that's the case as less people seem to go to the hospital for it.
I'll be happy when Michigan re-opens as I'd like to go home - but so far no word of that happening...so we'll just have to tough it out here where everything is open. Luci seems to enjoy her time on the lanai - yes in all that heat it's still one of her favorite napping spots!
Well, duty calls...take care everyone and I hope your kitties surf safely!
