Yesterday

Another day, another trip to the lagoon. :D This is becoming a habit, Harvey! Not that I'm complaining - I love it!

He ate all his t/f/s meal, but only about 1/3 of his breffis, and he hasn't had any more since. I'm debating about tummy meds. His other meds are due in a few minutes, so if I do give him the Ond & Cypro I'll do it then. Couldn't stay up late enough to give him the SEB last night.

He's otherwise doing well (anti-jinx). He's started climbing up to the front window and hanging out there, like he used to do. I haven't seem him do that for months until the past couple of days, so I am taking it as a good sign. He's moving around okay, although I haven't been able to observe him going up and down the stairs yesterday or today - he manages to do it when I'm not looking. He is jumping down from my desk chair instead of using the "step" - a file box - I conveniently (for him) located next to it. So I guess he's not feeling as much discomfort in his back legs as he had been. I haven't given him any Bupe for a couple of days. I don't hesitate to use meds when I think they're needed (as Bron said, "better living through chemistry"), but I'd rather not give them if they aren't.

Sending healing vines to all in need, especially Rosie, Toby, Lucky and Neko, and hugs to all their beans, especially Lydia, Peg, Celia and Wendy. :bighug::bighug::bighug: Vines and prayers to Amy's DF, too.

Nice to hear Harvey is moving better and climbing to the window. Nice to see him back in the lagoon today. I hope he eats more for you. Sending prayers.

Harvey! What a good boy...I can't believe I said that! But, yes, Harvey, a very good boy. Tricia I'm so glad you can see some real improvement.

I'm sooo anti-meds but when they really need them, they need them. Good to hear he's moving along without some. Eat your fuds little man, it's how you're going to stay big and strong! Surf safely now.:D:D

Maybe Harvey just isn't the "breakfast eating" kind of dude! I know the only time I'm much interested in breakfast is in the evening! I'm just not a morning eater.....as long as he's keeping his weight pretty stable, that's the important part!

Yo Harvey!! It was another good day in da lagoon!! A little more practice and you and me be ready for da tandem surfing Olympics!!

Our hearts are very heavy tonight with the news that Lydia's Rosie will be crossing the Bridge on Friday. Our thoughts and prayer are with Lydia and her family. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks for the visits, everyone! I did end up giving Harvey the tummy meds this morning, and he started eating really well about an hour later. However, they pooped out at dinner. He only ate about 1/3 of it, and nothing more. I guess I'll be giving him more meds tonight. :(

On the positive side, he had such a good time surfing with China and his buddies in the lagoon today he's back there again! I guess he's trying to make up for all the shifts he missed in March. :D

I went to UCD today to pick up more Ondansetron and Bupe and ran into the faculty Oncologist, Dr. Burton. She asked about Harvey and high fived me when I told her he was down to .75 units (She was the one that wanted me to reduce him to 1.0 in April when he was at 1.5). She's so sweet - said she was glad he was doing well, that I deserved some good luck for a change!

Today was change the bed linens day - not just the sheets - I switched from the winter bedding to Summer. I am still in the process of washing the winter stuff before packing it away. Gotta go throw the pillow shams in the dryer. BBL.
