If I know Gus, he's clearing his bounce and he'll continue to go low, very low. I would like to get certain on the feeding topic. If I switch his main feeding time to +10, that will even out the low +11. But, then there's the 'carb sensitive' issue that says not to feed at all after nadir. If that is the case, I would allow the #s to rise again on their own, feed, and then shoot. Is that correct? I don't mind saying that I'm confused at this point. I am bringing this up now because Gus will most likely revert to the pattern he showed prior to his bounce and I'd like a nice, gentle curve eventually. Sorry if I sound dense, I'm usually not this slow. BTW, Gus had an absolutely horrid time at the vet's yesterday. I was too upset to even talk speak of it last night. The vet found yet another suture that was encased in soft tissue and proceeded to hold him down and cut it out. Poor Gus was crying and there was nothing I could do about it. It had to be done or he would have been in big trouble. He also is not healing as well as the vet would have liked. That is attributable to the FD. When we got home, he was in pain and luckily, I had saved 2 doses of bupe from before so he got some of that and he slept a lot. I tested prior to dinner but only a couple of times after that, so he could rest.
