Great BTB time with Gabby this morning!! Gizmo was very entertaining and was catching treats. He's driving me crazy, though. Their food and water sits on paper towels that are in a shallow plastic tray. Gizmo is a very sloppy eater and there are specks of food on the towel. Apparently,Gizmo thinks this is a way to leave a snack for himself. He'll come back later and sometimes lick holes in the paper towel. He also will knock over the water in an effort to hoover up crumbs. (He will also be running around and slide into the tray so there's water all over the place.) I'm getting really tired of sopping wet paper toweld!

My cats are sloppy eaters, too, but I think they're leaving specks of food for the ants that invaded the house a couple of weeks ago! :YMSIGH: :lol:

it sounds like you need a couple of these: Neater Feeder

I love mine! They work a bit better with dry food and water than with wet food, because I think it's a little hard for them to get at the food that gets piled against the back side of the bowl, but it really does keep the mess off of the floor.

I thought I was the only one who had such a sloppy eater! :smile: And Tiger gets food all over her face as well, but I like the looks of that feeding dish!

A very long time ago, when we joined the board and were trying to transition Zener to wet food, someone posted on his condo - "boys are messy". I'll have to go back and find out who it was.

LOL...I'm actually always telling Trix what a messy eater she is! But, I also tell her that girls don't stink...only boys make stinky stuff :lol: !!!

I wonder if flat cat Gabby has any plans for tonight?!?!

Oh, Shasta's a slob when it comes to eating. She leaves bits of wet fuds on my couch, in the carpet and on herself. I have a cat mat under her bowl on the couch and I have a towel under her bowl in my bedroom...still doesn't help. :lol: :lol: Hope Gabby comes down to the blue and green floor tonight. Hope your enjoying a nice, lazy Sunday, Sienne!
 
Yup - that was F L A T yellows this morning. :shock: :mrgreen:

If you want to make sure the cat fuds area is spotless, get yourself an acrocat. ;-)
 
Rusty only has 5 teeth, so he is allowed to leave specks of food on the mat.

Gabby, are you going to surf safe tonight?
