Well, no kidding! We finally have a green. Maggie seems to be feeling better. She finally did a bm, thanks to a little of the Miralax, or could it have been sprinkling a little of the Fortiflora on her FF? Is the Fortiflora to be used only when a kitty is on antibiotics?

I've used Fortiflora for all sorts of reasons that involve liquipoo, not just related to AB use. It can also be used as an appetite stimulant. At one point, Jill mentioned that it can be constipating so you may want to use a little of Miralax routinely if you're giving the Fortiflora.

Great start for Maggie today!

Miralax is given every day in our house...Works like charm--also fortiflora helps with ab's effects-

Oh..no kidding with the Miralax! How much Miralax - just like a pinch of salt?

Thanks, I'm happy she has bounced back from the dental surgery. I was worried with her age, 11 years old!

Thanks Sienne. I wondered about the Fortiflora with her being constipated. She did do a bm after I had used a little Miralax the last two days! Her appetite is better since I've used the Fortiflora.

Glad to hear she is doing fine after the dental...my to are 13 now....she is still a youngster compared to them! :mrgreen:

Wow, that's quite a bump up. I'm trying to think what I fed her - FF Salmon mostly - oops - I forgot; I fed her Sophisticat Chopped Grill about 12 Noon, so it's only been an hour since she ate.

Maggie is not as flat as yesterday, so maybe my insulin is still good, although after 4 months, I did order another vial refill. 'll pick up tomorrow and see if there's any difference in her numbers. I'm also running low on the Alpha Trak strips. It seems strange she didn't peak until +10!! :?:
