STart the countdown over.

Seriously, he had about 5 of his sisters dry kibble and needed a shot after 6 days off!!! Gave him just a skinny 0.25U. But for anyone who is questioning diet at all....... don't!!!! Both times he has gotten into kibble he has needed a shot.

Need to get his sister totally off of the dry, but she isn't loving the wet and I've battled hepatic lipidosis with her before so I'm nervous about her not eating....

So let us brainstorm with you. What are the logistics of their eating? Will she eat any wet? Can you spend the Thanksgiving break offering her a menu of wet to see what tantalizes her palate?

haha yes I have time.

So basically I try really hard to get her to eat the wet. She will eat the fish flavours of FF but she loses the hair on her ears a bit, I think she is a bit allergic.

If I mix freeze dried chicken with the chick FF she will eat a LITTLE bit, but not enough I'm happy.

Usually I just put down a bit of dry when I'm around and take it away once she is done, but twice now I've forgotten about it for a few minutes and cello has gotten into it, so it's my fault... but I would like her on all wet as well.

Gotta try some new foods I think../...

Will def. look into the fortiflora..... and try the mixing. I am home this weekend and next so I have some time to start playing around with it and figuring it out! I can't believe how sensitive cello is to the dry!! Just goes to show....

A bit of caution - some cats like the FortiFlora so much they'll binge and then have diarrhea. I've a couple of civvies that do that.
I'd use sparingly until response is observed and satisfactory.

Also, probiotics IN PEOPLE, have been associated with some adverse outcomes when used during illness. This may or may not be true of cats.
