Morning, ~O)

All is good with Zeus, no poo yet but I'm sure it will come. He had his test, food, shot and went BTB. Smokey though... She woke me up, scratching scratching scratching (herself)...guess she had the itchys. And then while I was cleaning the LB, she had this really weird meow. It was kind of guttural, and then she got sick. It was only a tiny bit of white foam. I wonder if she just has an acid tummy and maybe I should try Pepcid for a few days. I think I might take her in for a vet visit too. her fur is really thin still at the base if her tail, i dont think she's still pulling it out though, and now she has a spot on her ear. I wonder if that is due to the methimazole transdermal gel for hyper-t.

Nice sunny start for Zeus. I hope he slides down and you come home to some blue. Poor Smokey. I hope the vet visit goes well and it's nothing serious. I give one of my cats 1/4 tab of Pepcid AC every day because he has an acid stomach. It does seem to help him. He only throws up every now and then. He used to all the time.

Poor Smokey--I know nothing about methamozile, so I can be of no help there. I hope you will find out exactly what is causing her hair loss. Have you had her thyroid checked lately?

Thanks Carla, I have been thinking that both of my cats must have acid tummies, since they both get sick. Smokey is awful to pill though, that's why I switched to the gel for her hyper-t. Maybe the vet will have something else that we can try.

Hi Kat. Smokey pulls her fur every year, it's seasonal allergies I think, or just tired of being cooped up in the house all winter. :lol: The methimazole is for hyper-thyroidism. It was checked a few months ago, she was on pills for a while, but she is not fun to pill so we switched to the gel a couple of weeks ago. I am kind of wondering if there might be something in the gel that is bothering her tummy.

H Kathie, sending Zeus some poo vines. Sending good Vetty vines for when you take Smokey to the Vet. I give Maggie 1/4 Pepcid C every evening before her bedtime. I remember that gut wrenching cry when my GA kitty used to be ready to vomit a hairball. I hope Zeus slides down.
 
Thanks for the poo vines, but phew.... We don't need any more of those here right now. That lovely aroma hit me like a brick wall as soon as I walked through the door tonight :lol: Oh My :!: :!: :!: WHAT did I feed him?

I think I will try the Pepcid for both kitties... I found more vomit today, and this time it looked more like Zeus'.

I hope Zeus slides down too. Have a good night.
