Hello everyone,

Sorry about all the different posts yesterday. I will only do one today and keep posting on it. When I gave Wiggle Worm his test this morning, I had to poke him twice. He was so mad at me. cat(2)_steam Kept twitching his ears and crying. When I went to give him a treat after I finally got it, he refused to eat it. I was shocked especially after he gobbled them up yesterday when I checked him 4 times. He sees me coming with the glucometer, and he wants to take off running.

His level this morning was 283. I gave him 1.25 of PZI. It seems like the numbers do not go down below 200 lately. This morning he seemed like he didn't feel real good. I guess maybe he was just having a bad day, like we all do sometimes. Yesterday I checked for ketones with a ketone strip and it was negative.

This week I will only be able to check him in the morning and night. Just hope he doesn't go down low while I am at work.

Thanks

Angela

That number isn't bad. I might suggest that you increase if you were going to be around, but since you aren't, I think I would stay with 1.25. Once you can get some mid cycle numbers, I would experiment with an increase.

No chance of a urinary tract infection? That is the most common problem we see. And he may have a tumor right? Did you try posting on Health to find a vet you might like better?
