Re: 5/9 Tommy AMPS 280,+2 302, +4.25 290
Well, he's listening just a little bit now.
Thanks Marjorie, it is def. time to come back down..
Ok, I have to finish my story about the visit to the vet last Monday..I know, for those of you who read my dissertation, you were hoping i was done   I waited until now because i had no information until friday when i called MSU, Sunday was Mothers Day and I know many of you have things going on in your lives that require much of your attention.
I wanted you to know, that while Tommy was at the Vet last monday and i was giving him syringes of water to fill his empty bladder so they could take the sample for the culture.. Any way, I was there for almost 4 hrs.. I had given my vet the info on the Acro/IAA tests that i had printed out from both here and MSU site. He came back from Lunch, took the urine sample from Tommy Annnnnnnnnnd blood samples (which i didn't ask him to do just yet, I only wanted him to be aware that i was looking into getting them done.. I decided that since he had the blood drawn already, what the heck is a little more money @-) He didn't really feel it was necessary, but i'm guessing after lunch (he must have read the papers i gave him. He had already had the submittal form printed out and both tests checked off..
Now my problem, I know the tests are on Wednesdays.
First he never called to tell me that he had gotten them sent off, second, I called MSU to see if indeed Tommy's samples were sent there.. They had been.

They made it there within the 48hr window the woman said was safe, however past the cut off time for testing. ohmygod_smile She told me the tests would be done the following Wednesday (11th). I asked her if the samples would still be fine, she has assured me that they would be.
She said one of the samples needed to be kept refrigerated and asked if i knew if it had been. Well no, I'm not the one who drew the blood and then shipped it off without calling the client.. Arggggggghhh!!!
Since Tommy had thrown up all of his breakfast, the vet felt it was safe (fasting long enough).. Said the water i had given him should make no difference nor the insulin i had given him that morning..
He has not had me pay yet for these tests, because he wasn't sure if he could get them up there in time. So I guess that's a good thing for now.
I'm worried that because the exact way it should have been gone about and the lack of timely manner that they got there, that i'm not going to get a true reading on the samples.. nailbite_smile nailbite_smile If any one can put my mind at ease.. That would be WOOOOOOOOOOOOONDERFULLLLLLL!!!
Ok, now i'm done.. No, really I am
