Good morning Everyone,

Beautiful day here in the city. Almost makes me forget about our cellar! Rusty woke us up very early and wanted us to get up, but we didn't. Number a bit high. And then the shot felt weird. Trouble with, syringe. But I didn't smell insulin, so here's hoping! Good breakfast. At the moment a nice grooming with his papa bean.
Lunch with friends. Then a mammogram. Then some errands. Then supper with another friend. DH has his old yoga group this eve.

Hey all kitties. We're meeting in Central Park at the hot dog cart for lunch and then to try out other hot dog carts and have fun watching the tourists. See you soon.

I'm glad you had a safe drive, enjoy your time in the city. There's no use worrying about the cellar. I bet the higher number is just excitement about the plans the kitties have for NYC. When are you going to the opera?

Happy Monday Ella and Rusty! I hope you have a great day and go out and enjoy the weather. It was 100 here already this weekend. I guess summer is finally here and with a vengance.

Hi Ella, nice start to rusty's day, even with the upset in his routine. Pretty soon, going to the city, will be routine for him too :smile:

wow quite the day planned there - it all sounds great, except for maybe the DR part (I hate those....). Enjoy your time with friends. It all sounds like fun. Are you going to be able to go to the opera?

Not too bad for Rusty - I think that over time he will get used to these trips. It's still better than the last trip. You can do it Rusty - it's just another home away from home.

Glad to hear Rusty is doing well this morning and that he's recovered from his icky tummy yesterday.

Maybe the stress of not being at home is just causing him to surf a little higher...I don't see any difference between those two numbers (yes, he should be coming down but...stress). I hope you all have a wonderful time in NYC....so jealous!!!
 
Got through the mammogram ok. Now just the doctor tomorrow (they said someone cancelled my appt! But I'm going anyway.) Opera tomorrow night.
Rusty surfed blue today and is op tonight. I think it was a partial fur shot this morning. Wasted 2 syringes Tonight with bubbles and sticky plungers. Don't know why so much trouble lately.
Anyway, I hear that the party in Central Park was a hoot. Kitties were posing for tourist pictures along with the squirrels (squirrels in Europe are a rarity). At least 5 hot dog vendors were auditioned.

The kitty bus is about to leave with lots of extra food and a couple of squirrel pals.

Hi Ella. Glad you got one med prodedure over with. Looks like the doc's gonna have to make room for you tomorrow. :lol:

Not a bad day for Rusty, although a little high for him. Hey, we all have our off days.
I've been having difficulty with this latest box of syringes, and telling myself it's my imagination. I really don't want to be bothered sending them back, if I complain about it.
They get bubbles, stick, and when I let go the plunger starts to slide back up into the pen.
I think it was the syringe that made a big bubble in the pen couple days ago.

I hope you enjoy tomorrow too, and get to the opera.

Yay on the mammo... now the DR. Kudos to you for going anyways! weird that they thought the appt was canceled.

Sorry for Rusty's higher numbers - perhaps it was a partial fur. Are you still using monojets? Me too - have had a few issues with sticky plungers too: they don't always want to twist. I still like them better than the BD's though.

Sounds like the kids are painting the town!!! Hope Rusty's numbers are more cooperative soon! Glad the mammo is over and I hope all goes well at the dr. tomorrow! Enjoy your evening in NYC!!!
 
Nothing about your cellar today -does that mean you finally turned the corner on the water? I don't know if I could have dealt with that as well as you did.
Rusty -we are used to seeing a little better numbers - bring them back down, some green please
