Morning LL!! Moonie's numbers are pretty good yesterday & today even with the fat 0.5U dose which I reduced from sk0.75, for the weekend! I'll keep her at this as long as she stays in nice ranges..
Last night she seemed so depressed, couldnt get her to eat so opened a can of FF beef & fed her right out of the can...She ate! and will always eat temptations, my emergancy treats for low bg's.

OT~I was at the fair Saturday & a woman with 4 dogs came to my booth, while I was telling a friend about Copper GA--and that he has a FD sister also 15-- Then this woman said to me "You better prepare yourself"!
I said WHAT? She said the other cat could go also, so i should prepare myself!!! I almost DIED right there!
I said to her 'THAT'S A TERRIBLE THING TO SAY!!!" and called my DH over--She & her dh disappeared-so I just sent her bad comments & ideas right back to her!!
I was so upset all day, & there were many animal peeps there! SOMETIMES I Hate Certain People!!
Why make me worry every second, as I already am??
I'll just never understand so many things--Meanwhile I am surrounding Moonie with green light & praying for her continued well being--We are all trying to heal!

I think that's a terrible thing to say to someone who is already grieving!
I mean I would watch Moonie for more signs of depression but I wouldn't worry so much. As long as she eats and is attentive she will be fine.

These are great numbers so she has to be feeling good.

Hi Roni,
You won't believe this, but my Mom told me the same thing over two years ago when my GA Siamese boy kitty crossed the Bridge. She knew how much it upset me, so she took it back. It's just a rumor that once went around or something, so don't pay any attention. Maggie is fluffy and happy. She did grieve when Mikey passed away. I just kept picking her up and carrying her to bed. It was mostly at night when she cried. Lots of love and hugs for you and Moonie.

Hi guys .. so sorry to hear you had to deal with someone like that the other day .. some people just never think before they open their mouths .. However, this is a lovely green +3 for moonie, I hope she surfs here for you .. have a great day guys!

When people like that come across my path I always just think, "ya know lady, Karma's gonna be a *****." Sorry you had to deal with that :( On the plus side though, Moonie's #s look great!

Moonie is doing great! :mrgreen: and that woman is an idiot :evil: Some people say things like that and actually think they are being helpful! Moonie is still missing Copper, but she has the best bean in the world to comfort her. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

(((Roni)))...you just have to ignore mean people. You have more positive energy than that and you know how well Moonie is doing. She'll be sad...Gracie was when GA Max crossed..but they are resilient and you are giving her tons of love. And her BG is looking great!!!

Hope you sold lots of jewelry. I went on your website but couldn't view any of your jewelry :? I'd love to see it!

Moonie is doing great today & I am showering her with Love..She's eating well & is doing really well.

Roni - she is very lucky she could depend on you being a kind compassionate person. Well her face is - because she has all her teeth after a comment like that. ohmygod_smile

Just know that most people aren't that cruel. What she said was cruel - you know why? She's an unhappy witch - her life isn't good and she wants others to feel pain. Karma does exist. I've seen it happen. Maybe she will come back as a shelter cat one day and learn about love and kindness.

Don't internalize it. Copper is an angel watching over you and Moonie.

Thank God for forums such as this. It keeps my faith in people. If you don't like animals... you aren't in my bubble. I have to love my family, but not anyone else - unless they love animals.

Oh Roni, I'm sorry that woman hurt you like that. I bet tho, she didn't mean to be cruel, just not thinking before speaking. Someone with pets of her own, should know better.
That's what I'm saying out loud, on the board; what I'm thinking, is much harsher. :(

Miss Moonie is looking fantastic! What a day of swimming in beautiful green waters. :-D

I hope your show was a great success. I sent my DD your link, to ask if any of those cities/towns, coming up are within driving distance for us. Nope! BooHoo!

Some people are just callous and mean. We don't need them and can forget about them.

Some people don't have the brains God gave them. She has proven that she should have been born without the ability to speak because she has no clue what is and is not an appropriate thing to say to someone. The fact is, Moonie has you there to help her deal with her sadness, and she's there to help you deal with yours. You can only die from sadness if there's no reason for you to go on and Moonie has one huge reason to stick around... YOU. So that woman can suck it (that's my daughter's saying and it seems to fit here).

Hi roni - sorry i missed your post last night - I found it this morning, and just couldn't get on this silly thing... Moonie is doing well, and "that thing" is a idiot. Karma will take care of her - so no worries for you. My kitties have reacted much the same way Moonie has, when they've lost siblings, with sadness at times. I've always made sure they knew they were loved, paid that extra bit of attention, hauled them all to bed with me, cuddled with them in the evenings. Moonie has you to help her get through it, you have her. You guys will get through it. Pay the stoopid woman no heed.

Ditto, ditto on all the other comments on the insensitive person that you crossed paths with this weekend. Don't pay them no mind. I was looking for moonie's pm numbers so checked the SS (gasp - no entry since 4/22 ?!?!?) No really, I am not going to bust your chops cause of every thing that was going on with Copper- but I do hope that Moonie has had a great pmps given those lovely greens she gave you today. Sending hugs your way.....

Moonie is sad at times during the day..I think I coddled her too much today & she got annoyed :lol:
Could you imagine too much tea & sympathy?--But I am trying to lift her spirits, I know she will be fine, just
need to see her happy Moonie face again, and bring her out of the shadows.Cats really DO feel it!

Hope tomorow will be another better day--Sending nice dreams, well being & sound sleepus--Ni Ni LL & Big Hugs!--Tried to update my SS--BTW Copper got sick on 4/23 the day afcter I stopped doing my ss-WILL update soon.
