Yesterday was BLUE day in MannieLand. dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat and WOOT! The Blue Mannie Group was reported to be performing live yesterday at the Blue Note in NYC. Way to go guys! It was indeed at good day for Mannie - a nice steady blue surf, with a dip or two into the green lagoon. How fun to have my blue kitty back. And last night? What a ride! Well done Mannie! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon We hope for great things today too. :-D

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie felt great yesteryear - up and out and in and out alot. I think the low blues really agree with him. Not alot of sleeping yesterday, well, less than normal. :lol: It was a sunny day for most of the afternoon yesterday so he spent some of it outdoors, in his fav spot, in the ground cover. The remainder of the afternoon was spent n the nanners. It always cracks me up when he sleeps on top of the pile - you would think that would be uncomfortable. :shock: :? :lol: :razz: I told him earlier today that Nicholas was coming today. Maybe he was just prepping them for his arrival. :lol: :lol: Today, as always, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used: no missed ones, back on track(!!), Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday, no condo visiting for me.... Swimming today, and I hope for good weather so that we can go to a local park after that. Paws crossed. I will miss you guys, and will try and get to condos when I can. and all you furkids: think blue, think green kitties!

Hi Mannie, raining here today, so lets go to the Metropolitan Museum to see the images of our ancestors in the Egyptian galleries. We can have hot dogs on the steps if it stops raining, watch tourists, then
walk downtown through Central Park, maybe get into a ball game, and then on to the NY Public Library to visit the lions: Patience and Fortitude. See ya later. Tomorrow we go to Staten Island on the ferry.

Hi Michelle, I love the "The Blue Mannie Group was reported to be performing live yesterday at the Blue Note in NYC." :-D Mannie sure kept you busy last night and what a lot of good fuds there, Mannie. Maggie was about to come over and help you out with the Cheese Souffle! :lol: It looks like he's giving permission for a fun day with Nicholas. Yes, a walk later for me. You wouldn't believe the fog cover here! It sounds like so much fun today for you and DGS, enjoy and can't wait to see more pics.

Mannie, it looks like Rusty has a full schedule of fun activities for us today, Metropolitan Museum, those famous hot dogs where they always save extra karaut for me, and Central Park and yes, we can go back to the market, too. See ya soon, Mags

OK Mannie, we want a repeat performance of the Blue Mannie Group tonight. I heard it was a sellout crowd at the Blue Note, but it took the bar keeper a while to figure out how to make all the nipitinis being ordered.

Hve fun w/ Nicholas today, he is turning into a little fish! Mannie seems to be holding steady. :-D

WOOT! Boy did we get a lot of eels yesterday, those flying ones sure weren't expecting me way up in the air! :twisted: :twisted: Yes, great plans for the day! I want to see the pictures of the ancestors and see if the gift shop has any necklaces like the ones they wear! I lubs jewelry! AND hot dogs AND back to the market, did you see that spice shop!!! 450 @ PMPS. :cry: :cry: I can't remember the last time we had a red number - it's been months. What an ugly bounce this is...... oh well, at least tonight I can sleep, and we can start afresh in the morning.

Nicholas and I had a great time today. We went swimming in the morning. That was fun. I had a couple of people remark how at home he is in the water. Yes, that is more than true. We went to Brackett's Landing Park after that, for some serious beachcombing. The tide was way out, so that was really great. I had spotted a starfish on the beach, but by the time I got to it a seagull had snatched it up. Bummer! I had hoed he'd be able to touch one. We settled for a crab instead... it was a dead one, but still intact, so safe enough to pick up. He had such a good time. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Ella - yes, it was a great day. We ended up at the local beach after swimming. weather was ok - partial sun. It was fun with the low tide. And thanks on yesterday - that was nice, tonight is just awful. :?

Hi Ann - I love the Blue Mannie Group. Ann of Ann and Tess coined that one. It just kinda fits Mannie. Last night was really nuts, but he did well. He just LOVES that cheese souffle - only gets it when he is in the 50's. I think we are paying the price for that tonight - omg: the 400's!! so yes, we got permission to play today.

Hi Melissa - thanks - day was great. I think Mannie forgot about his encore performance... I hope Mr T didn't follow him up there. :?

Oh Mannie, red and pink floors.....really?!?! I hope he comes down for you nice and slowly Michelle. That Nicholas is going to be a marine biologist i think.....water and critters.......i can see it now! :-D

Mannie, today in NYC was great i had lots of fun at the cat museum. What are we going to do tomorrow?
