Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) , and Happy Fursday!
oh my..... I keep hearing mumblings about some party at Maui's and Elsa feels she so needs to come up with some extra cool frozen concoctions...... and it seems Miss Elsa found Mannie's cookbooks, well the ones he didn't take with him to the Bridge. I dunno how helpful they will be, as they were his rookie chef cookbooks! things like "Spoon Stirring 101", "How to Melt Butter", and "Buy Ice Cream at the Store".... ;-) I so hope Mannie will be spiritually guiding her frozen beverage culinary efforts. Elsa.... leave the cooking to Rusty and the krew.... I asked about my 10 hour energy and my mocha... she said no worries, coming right up, and sure enough! one 10 hour energy and an almond roca mocha that was more ice cream than mocha. I guess she hasn't forgotten us....

Yesterday was swim day for Nicholas. WHAT FUN! The FISH was once again in his element. WOW! What a swimmer, and only 2. I think he sometimes spends as much time under the water as he does on top!  He's made a few friends with some of the other kids that are regulars, so it is fun to watch them interact. He wanted to walk the trail that is by the pool after his lunch so we did that too. Boy was he ever tired after that. All the way home he's telling me "no nap, no nap!" oh sure... the minute he's in his bed he crashed. ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz! Here's the Picassa link to the photos and the videos: Lynnwood Pool Trail and SwimmingThe photos are very similar to the ones from last Friday... sorry, I do take way too many. I had a little trouble with the upload, so I hope all is there.

I hope everyone has a great day. Nicholas and I will be off, probably in search of river, or a river park. We are due for great weather today, once we get passed the morning clouds and fog, so out we will go. Elsa is home to man the fort. I will try and get to condos once he has gone home, I so hope anyways. Forgive me if I crash from toddler exhaustion and cannot. Take care everyone!

And kitties.... remember! Think BLUE, think GREEN!

HI Michelle!! ~O) ~O)
Looks like Elsa is going to have to lose the BIT after her name pretty soon!!! Yummy today. And only a little foam on the ceiling. Mannie must be helping her, she's getting so much better so quick.  Don't worry Elsa..i be right there with my clean up stuff... then let's get on the bus... everyone is heading to the beach today WHOO HOO for us- oliver

Those trail photos are great!! All that's needed for FUN...stick, stone, stump, a little dirt, gram, and bear!!

Have fun ... give hugs and scritches all around from us. xoxo mary and ollie

Morning Michelle, great pics of DGS swimming and underwater pics are always so cute. Many adults won't dunk their heads underwater. I love how he gives Bear part of his sandwich. Love the pics on the Trail, too, so pretty there with all the plush greenery.
Elsa is doing well with her coffee delivery. I love the ice cream. I relly think she is on to something here.
Have a great day with Nicholad swimming and a river adventure.

What a bundle of energy...the Energizer Fishie  ????

Elsa's gotta start somewhere...rookie cookbooks today, master chef tomorrow. You go, girl!!

Have fun with the little one today!

Good Morning, Michelle and Nicholas! and, of course, Elsa, barista-in-training,

Need 15 hour energy drink today with all that I have to do!!! Hold the ice cream, though!

Love the photos, especially the underwater ones. Nicholas has earned his nickname--the Fish! Wow. What camera do you use underwater? I'm about to get a new camera (Olympus, "Tough" Series, TG 830 iHS; 15 megapixils!!). It is supposed to be impervious to water (and shoots underwater), dirt, shock, freeze, etc. etc. and has a built-in GPS and compass. I can't wait for it to arrive and to try it out.

Have a fun adventure today, guys. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Hugs,

Ella & Rusty

Great photos as always! Have you ever taken him to watch a swim meet? Or would he want to join in too much!

Elsa, you can sign us up for regular deliveries too! That almond rocha sounds delish!

Sorry, I just got caught up on yesterday! I love that photo of Mannie! He looked so proud of his pompom! I think the organza bag is a great idea! Or a shadow box frame, but you couldn't take it out to touch it then. I didn't get a paw print of Cleo, but I do have a tiny clipping of her fur in a tiny envelope on the curio cabinet. I think of her still every time I dust, well more ofter=n than that because I don't dust that often!

Nicely done, Elsa! You're getting the hang of it. I'm sure Mannie is keeping an eye on things and helping out as needed. :-D I don't know how you do it, Michelle. I get worn out just hearing about taking care of Nicholas.
Liz

Hi Michelle

I assume THE FISH is napping now, as I see your name down there. I know you ain't here, with him awake

I just KNOW you had a wonderful, wet day! :-D
Rest for a little, while you can. :-D

I'm glad you and Nicholas had fun at the pool and the trail yesterday. He does love the water and being outisde. I hope you had a good day today wherever you decided to go.

Hi Everyone! ~O) ~O) ~O) ah heck, I know it's evening, but ~O) is good then too!

Nicholas and I went to Whatcom Falls today, near Bellingham, as it had the est weather forecast. I was beginning to wonder though when we were driving up there: Fog was everywhere, until about 1 mile from the Falls. There we had sun and warmth and blue skies. Perfect weather! We had a really nice time, we must have walk those trails a dozen times, visited the fish hatchery three times. He just couldn't get enough. On one side of the falls there is a small trail that will allow one to walk out onto the top of the smaller falls. so I took him out there, he really loved that. kinda cool to be standing on top of a waterfall. How many ever get to experience something like that? The rest was what was normal for us when we make these "river" trips: rocks, sticks, and river wading, lunch out in the middle of it all. we had a great time, he didn't want to go home. I will post the Picassa photo and video link in tomorrow's LLips.

Hi Mary - well, out BIT Elsa is trying. She so wants to carry on for her brother, but not overshadow him either. Now if she only could do all of this without all the mess. Neat is not her middle name...   THX on the pics! I so agree - all he need are a few rocks, some sticks, a little water, or mud, and he is ever so happy. Add Bear and we have perfecto. Today was such a great day for him!
Ollie! DUDE! (Mannie said it was ok if I called yu dude). Thanks, I kinda made a mess again. BUT! You help, and i'll be cleaned up soon. I so wanna go to the beach! You'll have to grill though, I don't now how.... ~~ Elsa

Hi Ann - THX on the pics! He loves being underwater. I know too on Bear - that cracks me up. Bear gets to eat what he eats! THX on toady -we really had a great time. -- Elsa thinks so too! ice cream rules in her book!

Hi Amy - LOL! I LIKE that! the energizer fishie! Somehow that really works! I will pass that on yo Elsa... she needs the moral support!

Hi Ella - I understand that Elsa made the delivery: 15 hour energy for almost all of LL. I hope she held the ice cream. many thanks on the photos. I love the underwater stuff too. I have a Panasonic Lumix TS10 (also the TS20) for the under water stuff, well anything in the pool. This one is 14 megapixels, shock proof to 5 feet, water proof up to 10 feet, HD movie. I like it alot, it is a good camera, with good photos. I also have a Nikon CoolPix AW100, also waterproof, but I haven't used it in the pool yet. Do let me know what you think of the Olympus, as I am always on the outlook for good cameras. I use mine alot, and am ratherhard on them, so always looking for new....

Hi Devon - THX on the pics. And so I have told him. He doesn't believe me silly boy.

Hi Ann - THX on the pics. Not yet on the meet. He has seen lap workouts, but no meet. I to wonder if he'd want to join in. He's seen photos of them, and always says he wants to go there. ;-) THX on the photo stuff from yesterday. i thought of a shadow box too, but somehow I like the organza bag idea. Right now it's sitting on the computer desk, next to where I work. Kinda comforting to have it there. LOL on your dusting - that would be me too. hate dusting... THX too on the pom pom photo - one of my favs.

Hi Liz -   on the energy thing. Truth be told - by the time he goes home I am beat. it is non-stop go when we do our stuff. And by the end of those three days? I-) I-) I-) Hmmmmm there may be a reason why I like ~O) so much: Zingggggggggggg! Yupp, I think Elsa will do just fine, she has someone watching over her, just in case. :-D

Hi Barb - well...... the FISH napped in the car, on the drive home, which was 1.5 hours. Of course he woke up the minute we got home. so.... no rest for the weary!!   and so true: not "here" when he's awake. no way, no how... I don't get to sit down then.  And THX - we did have a great time today. Alot of fun, beautiful scenery!

Hi Carla - THX on yesterday. It was fun, excellent! He is such a typical boy in all that he does, but I really like the amount of fun he has with it all. THX on today - it was great!
Auntie ANN! REALLY???? YOU wants my deliveries?????? COOL! See you tomorrow! ~~ Elsa, BIT
