He ate well but still no poop! Just a little shart in the night. Afraid MiraLAX maybe too strong considering his IBD. Going to try SEB. I have a message out to the vet.
 
Sending along some poop vines!! I do wonder why he was pink yesterday after all those pretty blues...things like constipation and not feeling 100% can drive numbers up. How are his numbers looking today?
 
Thanks @Amy&TrixieCat - He actually felt pretty good yesterday, albeit bloated. Ate well yesterday but didn't poop - He had a corticosteroid shot on Tuesday, which I know messes with BG, and then I really think it must've been MY screwup yesterday morning. I was so careful - going to do a curve... but I think I accidentally did a threaded shot. I smelled it and it didn't smell like insulin, but his skin is so thin (lots of sub-q and IBD, and a bigger belly than his neck/shoulders), I might've just threaded that tiny needle. That's the only way I can explain that he reacted after the PM shot yesterday, and is about the same at +2 this morning. Sheesh!

I gave him some slippery elm bark, so hopefully that'll help him poop. I need those vines!!! :)

DANG! WAY in the pink now. Granted, he ate some salmon about 1/2 hour ago, but this is a big jump! I hope he's just building up that reservoir (or whatever it's called) and he starts to respond to that 1 full unit!

Wonder if some of it is stress from not pooping much. He's on SEB and a bit of petromalt to maybe get things moving in there... Last poop about 5 hours ago (first in 2 days) was very small, and not at all firm - but not liquid - definitely better looking than before we did the steroid shot (he was ALL liquid then). This, however, is a new reaction to that shot. Wonder if Cerenia causes constipation...
 
Roller coaster today. Got a good suggestion to shoot in flank, away from where he gets his sub-q's. Tried it tonight. Also, to get him pooping, I used more SEB and added fish oil. Fingers crossed!
