Woah there Checkers! You got less juice so let's come up a little for your bean. Tarragon is the same way in the lower numbers. Hope you are able to get something else done besides poking. Have a great day Barb!

Sheesh, he pulled away twice and made me stick myself. I know he did it on purpose.
That's a lot of testing for a blue day, but after he came down at +6, I wanted to see where he was at +7.
Then I was outside and forgot about him for an hour and a half......who knows what could happen in all that time.

No wonder he kept making me stick myself.

That +3 is a wee bit low, but what a lovely day for Checks!!! Trix loves to flinch at that last split second, too, so I get stuck instead of her. They are masters at their craft, aren't they  !

You'd think I'd know this by now, and maybe it's in a stickie, but I always wondered if instead of feeding every test, should I wait and see how low he would have gone if I didn't feed?
I know I say this frequently, but he's sooooo thin, that I never miss an opportunity to shove food in him.

If I feed every lowish number, how do I know that he would have not stayed green all day, if I hadn't?
Did that make any sense?

It depends on Checkers and what you feed him. If he's not carb sensitive and you are feeding him LC, it might keep him surfing in green.

The only way to know is to not feed him when you get a high green number and see if he will stay in green. You probably don't want to try it on a low green number but if you feel he's relatively flat and that
it would be at a time that you see him come up WHEN you feed him, don't feed him or feed him less and see what he does.

How's that for babble? ;-)
