Good Morning Lantus Land,
Very special thoughts and prayers going out for Chester/Tiko today. It is amazing what a small group of people can do with the right motivation, can you help? I think this cat moved me because his situation is very similar to Attie's with coming into foster care and then crashing. Everybody wanting to get this guy a second chance and like Attie's caregivers at the time...believing he should have that chance and fighting for it.
Yesterday's Condo
Attie is up had breffis, didn't eat his late night beef snack ? So, when I realized that 12% was still sitting in the feeder waiting for him and he realized it was there, the race to the feeder was on! I didn't dispose of it until I checked his readings this morning...still using that little Relion meter three tries today to get a drop of blood big enough for a paws-crossed accurate reading....117,105, and finally a 156. Sheesh... Attie got his breffis and a rub out with neosporin on his ear. It didn't seem to break his frisky, feisty, purry mood though
.
You know, he really is such a very good boy! He hardly ever complains...it leaves that to his bean! Purrs through most tests, pokes, and even for all his fussiness with the brush...he is growling and purring at the same time. Cheese summits and taking on the grandpa role well.
I've been doing some spring cleaning and came across a bit of ceramics my Mom made for me. It is a piece that is well over 20 years old. My Mom passed away back in 1996 and was sick quite a few years beforehand with a neurological wasting. So, my estimate is it is over 20 years old. I'll get a pic up in a little while, but it stunned me as I looked at it. You'll see why without me having to explain. I have an acquaintance that says all the cats in your life are actually people from a past life and the souls of loved ones.
