Good Caturday Morning!

Cold, gray, drizzle, 40 degrees. Mr. Cat decided not to stay outside very long! Very hungry this morning and had eaten every bit of food in his Automat and so far has had 2 1/2 installments of breakfast (and is demanding more). He's bounced back to yellow (but at least it's not pink). It's a good day to chill out. I think I'll have to go to the Petsmart in Plattsburgh today because we are out of Stu's favorite food (By Nature turkey & turkey liver 95%) and we want to take some to NYC next week (the stores there are so high-end that they only carry the "organics", which Stu doesn't care for). So it will be a low-key day. Stu will be planning the menus for Scrabble's and Tugger's parties (anti jinx, anti jinx). More later.

Morning Stu and Ella!! Happy shopping...wish Stu could just help out with cooking his own meals...he is such a good cook! Raja & shadow are looking forward to the upcoming parties as i know stu is....tell him to giver them a call anytime!
He can handle that yellow...I'm sure he will bring that down nicely! Go Stu!!

Our weather is the same with SNOW in the forecast.
Hope Stu stays nice and warm insied and shows you some of those green numbers.

We have been thinking about you and have just not been by to visit in much too long.
Does sound like a great day for the chef to stay in and cook...can't believe your weather, we've been mid-90's already this week...Ugh!

Hey, we tried the By nature based on your high recommendations. They had very few on the shelf at the petsmart I went to, only one flavor of the organic version (i thought THAT was the one Stu liked best?) and a few cans of the other. But the shelf was mostly bare so we will try again and hopefully they will have a better selection. I called the company for the nutrient profiles. Still not sure how to accurately convert those, but I have them. Hank has like the 2 we've tried...I need to check on the phosphorous which I heard might be high since he has some past urinary issues. I also discovered they have a store brand that used to be sold at Albertsons and I think I may have found some at a small natural grocer here. Sounds like it may be the same formula, same flavors, etc.. as the By Nature.
Are ya'll already going back on the road with Stu? He is one cosmopolitan boy!

Can't wait to see what's cookin' for the parties!

Hi again Everyone, Well, Stu was flat and bobbly yellow until sometime around +9, when he went down to blue and continued that into PMPS (166). This might be one of those nights! (Sienne always warns to beware of flat yellows.). So the weather was awful all day, and so windy that Stu didn't want to go outside. I did go to Plattsburgh to the Petsmart and got the last 12 cans of the By Nature 95% turkey and turkey liver. I don't think they restock very often. Enjoyed listening to the Metropolitan Opera broadcast on the way there and back: a fabulous performance of Alban Berg's "Lulu", the opera we're going to see in NY on Wednesday (one of my favorites: early 20th-century Austro-German Expressionism, very decadent; based on 2 stories by Frank Wedekind).
Stu enjoyed his dinner (wanted more) and is settling into his place on the couch for the evening. I'm off to visit a few condos and then to upgrade the MAC operating system on my computer. If you don't hear from me it's because I loused up!

P.S. To Betty & Hank: so great to hear from you and we hope Hank is enjoying life at the Falls. Hank and Stu can swap stories at Scrabble's party tomorrow.

Not to bad of a day for Stu today, Ella! Ahhh, the weather...what's up with that today? It was very very windy here also, however, it didn't stop Spot from wanting to spend every minute he could out on his chair. He bunkered down nicely and didn't fly away!
Spot is looking forward to tasting Stu's menu tomorrow. Sounds yummy he said!!

Nice quiet day inside, just the thing to bring those numbers down. Tess is all ready for the dance prctice. She says they are going to ROCK tomorrow.

I'm so jealous that you get to go to the Met. I used to go when they still toured and came to MN.

So glad that you didn't mess up the Mac Ella... that would be akin to removing an appendage for me.
 
I didn't mess up the MAC because I chickened out and didn't do the installation. The upgrade just looked too different. I guess I have become set in my ways!! Maybe tomorrow!! Now it's time to test Stu and see whether it will be an exciting night--hopefully not!

Stu is at 83 at PMPS +4. I guess that's OK to go to sleep on. Today was totally weird. He seems to have exchanged day for night!

See you all tomorrow. Stu has to start cooking for the party.

I can't believe there is someone else here who knows who Alban Berg is. :shock: I haven't seen Lulu, but I love his chamber music. It would be amazing to see the opera live!
