Morning. holding off on the coffee ...
it was just time to take a pain pill and I had potato salad instead ( cajun) .

I am liking that number much better this am.
maybe she read her condo last night that insulin may be coming. yesterday

really tickled with her this am as she was just wrassling one of the dog toys.
when I got up I noticed 2 dog toys in her plush high side bed and showed her, those don't belong in your bed.
I guess she had to show that toy....

bean report: still the same as last night. not too bad at all for having been rotorootered less than 24 hours ago.
didn't sleep much though.
don't know if it's the vicodin keeping me awake or what.
definitely hope I get lots of naps today.

We are watching Shadow's numbers to see how she is faring.... may be starting insulin again as soon as I know I can stay up. ( last night would have worked
but hindsite is always 20/20  )

gotta make sure I get the mother's day cards in the mail so they get there by saturday.
That's all I have to do today. feels weird ....

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg 106

pancreatitis negative....

now i need to know what it means to have such high colbalamin and folate.
the TLI is still in process and will take another week.

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 pancreatitis negative colbalamin way

Hi Rhiannon, hope you feeling better every minute. Gets some naps in.
Nice amps for Shadow today, so glad pancreatitis in neg.

Have a good day!

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 pancreatitis negative colbalamin way

Hi Rhiannon, i like your breffifs of potato salad instead ( cajun). Sounds yummy. Sending you healing vines and hope you soon recover. I had Vicodin one time after surgery, and it kept me wide awake all night.
Nice AMPS for Shadow today. I hope you get some answers on Shadiw's test results.

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 pancreatitis negative colbalamin way

Ummm.........

Your vet ran a TLI for pancreatitis? This is not a current test for that condition. You really wanted a fPLI.

A TLI is used to help diagnose exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 pancreatitis negative colbalamin way

Hi Rhiannon - thanks goodness there is no pancreatitis. Big huge happy dance there! We dealt wit the cobalamin thing for a while... has to with gastro stuff, but dang I just can't remember the specifics... I know Mannie received cobalamin injections weekly for a while for general overall gastro health. Not too sure if any of that will help you or not. If I can find what I had on it I will add here. Over all it sounds like a good vetty visit. :-D

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 pancreatitis negative colbalamin way

HI Rhiannon
I am very happy, Shadow's test for p'titis was negative! flip_cat

I am sending lots of good wishes for you to feel better quickly!

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 +4~87

Great numbers! We have all of our paws crossed here that Shadow will not, at any time, need insulin!

Re: 5/8 Shadow ambg106 +4~87

Hi Rhiannon. So nice to see Shadow in the green again. Glad that you both ar doing better. We'll keep our fingers crossed that there isn't a need for insulin in your home.

Hav a great evening.

had to adjust the numbers not that anyone probably notices...

dd put them on for me today and they weren't right...
today was
ambg 106 ( 5:32am)
ate food at +2
ate food at _3
+5 ~ 128 (at 10:32am)

pmbg 87 ( at 5:24pm)
+4 ate a bite
+4.5 112 ( 9:53pm)

so the food got in the way a bit today but happy with todays numbers just the same.

never napped today until about 8:30 pm.
should be doing that again here in just a bit.... taking meds, getting Shadow foods...
still doing okay...
nose is swelling a tiny bit and a little more tender....
