Yesterday

Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night, ate all of his nighttime food, and was raring to go this morning. He began his breakfast graze, wanted extra treats, and is now sleeping in his little bed. The temperature is supposed to be in the 80s (!) today, so after the morning I think we will close the porch windows. The day will be spent getting ready for our trip to NYC tomorrow. Hopefully the drive won't be too bad in this weather (don't like to use the a/c).

Last night the peepers (frogs) were really loud. They like the warmer weather. I'm expecting the hummingbirds to arrive any day now. The other birds are all busy with their nests. It is great to hear so much birdsong now that the summer migrants have arrived (my favorite is the white-throated sparrow).

Yo Kitties, I'm going to the city tomorrow and invite you all to visit me for our "usual" pursuits. Those hot dogs from our favorite cart in Central Park are going to taste really good!

WOW on that 80. Seems like just yesterday you were still freezing... Nice to feel the warmth I bet. It's great to read that the creatures of spring, and summer, are beginning to show themselves.

The wildlife has been very loud at our house as well lately. DH was just commenting on it last night. We are wetter than usual and I think that must be the reason.
