Rosie enjoyed another bit of fresh air today as we went outside to watch birds. Today she sat in the grass with a harness on and seemed to like it. I'm back to trying to dose her Cisipride 3x / day to keep things moving. I think it helps but it makes her schedule more complicated (should be given 30 min before food).

I was home most of the day because one long delayed item on my to-do list was to have my car serviced. Since I'm planning a road trip I thought I should get that out of the way. After a few hundred dollars the mechanic thinks we are ready for the 5 hour trek north. I know it needs some more work done, but I don't want to put too much money into this car. I'm going to need to really psych myself up to go new car shopping sometime soon.

Carol, I tagged you on the main forum. @Peppersmom72 has been having constipation problems with Pepper and I thought you might have advice. Pepper is very resistant to taking the usual things like Miralax.

Thanks Michelle - I'm still working on the schedule but I'll leave in a few days. Cleaning, cooking, re-stock, packing... Still tons to do. Last year, when getting ready to come home, I had to postpone the trip for 1 day because civvie Ella didn't want to go, she hid above the basement ceiling tiles. I had the entire car packed, fridge in the cooler, water shut off, everything! We stayed an extra day just because she wanted to!

Sounds like you’ve got your hands full preparing. Not sure what kind of carrier you use for the crew but I’ve been following Pig’s WSU journey and Sarah has an awesome carrier.
