It's a four-coffee day ~ Ripley didn't go too low last night, but had a somewhat active cycle. She didn't earn a full .25u reduction (so close with the 56, thought for sure I was going to have to help bump up her numbers due to the pre-nadir reading!) but I did take off the "fat" this morning and dosed 1.0u.

Thanks for the visit last night, Marje. Cute pic! I should take a photo of Ripley holding a sign saying something like, "Vacations are overrated." :lol:

I hope I can finally have time this afternoon to visit condos ~ I've been keeping up with the goings-on of my LL families, but haven't been able to post ~ it's driving me nuts, being so 'quiet.' :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Josie, wow on Ripley's numbers. She sure did come close to getting a reducie but not quite, huh! I can see wht the four coffees today. Good luck on taking the fat off the dose. :-D Love our lingo. Have a nice day.

Hi, Ann, Devon, and Carla! :-D :-D :-D Thanks for the visits today!

Ripley just finished receiving her sub-qs. For some reason, she wasn't thrilled about it. Sometimes she's just plain annoyed with her fluids. Almost the whole time, she stared at me, shooting daggers out of her wide eyes.

Now she's fine, of course. :roll: :smile:

I'm off to bed early tonight. We have our annual Mother's Day Tea tomorrow ~ we turn the playground into a cafe, and the children (3-5 yr. olds) are the servers and hosts and bussers. It's soooooo cute. And we've been practicing and preparing our little hearts out. I hope they remember to keep their fingers out of their noses :lol: . At the end, they sing "You Are My Sunshine" to their moms ~ we practiced today and I almost lost it. You'd think by now (after 16 years of teaching) I wouldn't get weepy; but, then again, it's a good thing my heart still gets filled by these little people. :smile: :smile: :smile:
 
That tea sounds really adorable. I wish we had something like that when mine were little.

guess I can request it of my 22yr old ds and 17 yr old dd... now ... for sunday....
somehow I don't think they'll be so cute.... :lol:

That's too funny. The Mother's Day Tea Party sounds great. I'll bet they are all excited about it and that the mothers really enjoy it too.
