Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) Happy Wednesday to everyone!
Our Barista in Training, Miss Elsa, has gotten the 10 hour energy down. What a relief for me and all of LL! That espresso machine is working overtime! Only one mishap this morning, Seems she forgot to put the lid on the grinder/ espresso maker and well.... espresso grounds everywhere, including her fur. She's still trying to clean that out of her fur... Silly kitty. I bet she doesn't make that mistake again. Two huge crates arrived by special delivery yesterday - seems that she ordered all kinds of syrups and flavorings  @-) Then the appliance delivery guy showed, dropped off this humongous walk in freezer. :o and then the ice cream dude showed up.   hmmmmmm..... what does it all mean! I KNOW! Barista in training, with ice cream on the side.... Awesome. This mornings Elsa concoction: a mocha with orange spice, and a dollop of vanilla and orange swirl ice cream. Oddly enough the ice cream had this big lick mark in it.... yupp, still barista in training....

I wanted to share a few Mannie things with you. One is the paw print that the vet made for me the night he crossed to the Bridge. I thought they did such a great job with it, right down to the claw marks, and the few pieces of fur embedded in the casting. It's unfinished right now, and I suppose I should seal it with some sort of glaze. Just don't know. I kind of like the appearance/color the way it is, but wonder if I can keep it as clean as it is now. Something to think about. Kinda cool isn't it?

The other is a photo on Mannie taken back when all wondered what his rear end looked like, as I always used to talk about his pom pom. I loved his tail - way too cute. For a rear end he had great coloring! So here's Mannie the Manx Man, pom pom and all. You were one of a kind Mannie!

Have a great day everyone. I am on DGS duty today. I will try and get to condos once he has gone home, I so hope anyways. Forgive me if I crash from toddler exhaustion and cannot. Take care everyone!

And kitties.... remember! Think BLUE, think GREEN!

Oh I love the plaque. What a cool keepsake. I have no ideas on whether to seal or not. Love the pic on Mannie's fannie.   He was such a one of a kind guy. ((((Michelle)))) Have a great day with Nicholas!

Re: 5/8 LOOSE LIPS: Paw prints... a photo

Beautiful paw print!!! I'm also not sure about sealing it...maybe ask at the vet what other people do?

Love the butt shot...what a cute tushy!!!

Woohoo for Elsa...it sounds like she has got some EXCITING ideas for LL! You go, girl!!

That is such a neat idea on the paw print. Mannie's pom pom is so cute. It sounds like Elsa is really getting into the swing of things.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) THX, I think it is so nice, love that plaque. I'm really inclined just to leave it as it is. THX on the fanny! He had such great coloring: all this dark black fur on top, and this creamy tan coloring on the belly. Only clue one had to the belly coloring was that pom pom. ;-) THX on today - Swim day for Nicholas and I, always so much fun.

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) many thanks! I thought they did such a great job. Alot of care went into it on their part. Me too on the sealing... not too sure that is what i should do. Well, we will ask. LOL on that cute tushy! that it was. Makes me smile when I think about how he would always try and wag that thing.   It ended up being this tiny little circle in motion. What a hoot. ;-) and a big laugh n Elsa. That she doe! She so wants to carry on with Mannie's coffee business, but heck maybe an afternoon ice cream run.... yum!

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) I thought so too. I had another bean suggest it to me, just before he crossed to the Bridge, so when the vet said thy do them I thought that was just really nice. And then to have it come out as well as it did, I just went with theirs. She had been Mannie's vet for many years, so it somehow seemed fitting. LOL on Elsa, the girl has the fire in the belly - been inspired she says. Look out LL!

Morning Michelle, and oh how funny with Elsa and forgetting the lid on the Espresso Machine. Mags said she would like to sample one of her Mocha drinks with the vanilla and orange swirl ice cream, yum! ~O) ~O)

How neat on the paw print and the Vet making it herself. I just looked at my GA kitty's pawprint, and there is no glaze on it. Awww gorgeous pic of Mannie and his pom pom.

Have a great day with DGS and swimming. Hope the weather is nice for an adventure river fun time.

Sounds like Elsa is really getting into this barista thing! Adorable photo of mannies rump .. too cute! When our boy Cheddar passed peter had a paw print made for me as well, that's been several years now and it still looks just like the day it arrived .. I keep it on my nightstand ..

Mannie had such a cute butt, and he was so very proud of his exquisite pom pom. Tillie will need to see this picture, so she can appropriately twitch her pom pom in keeping with her regal lineage! I remember back in the day when we used to have castings of baby footprints. I LOVE the paw print, what a wonderful remembrance from your vet. My mom put clear fingernail polish on the ones she had of me and my sister. It preserved the casting material, but that was WAY back in the day. The material could be much more sturdy these days.

Mannie was one of a kind and is in all of our hearts furever. :YMHUG:

Awww, another wet-eye condo this morning.
Hi Michelle. I'm just smiling and blinking away a tear. What a cute rump :-D
I bet Ann (Tess) would know what to do with the paw print, to preserve it, if you want to. :-D

Have a fun day :-D

The print material looks like the same thing I used (and sent you the link for). It says you can color it or shellac it if you want. I haven't and it's been about a year and they still look the same as when I made them. If you like the way it looks, leave it. It's natural and it's fine.

Hey Elsa,

How cool you got your deliveries today! Yippee! Do you think you will have the hang of using the new machines by Sunday? Cause, I've got something to tell everyone here on Sunday and I'm gonna have a party at my place to make my special announcement. It would be so cool if you could concoct some yummy ice cream and make frappes and specialty drinks too!

And it's a surprise what I got to say! So, shhhhh......you can't tell anyone what it is! ;-)

Ooooh and would you send over an ice cream! I'm just wanting to have a taste.

Signed Maui the Magnificent, trying not to bust holding in the surprise!

Morning Michelle,
Barb is right, little tear but BIG SMILE seeing Mannie's paw print and way too cute pom pom. It must have taken quite the big muscle to wave that huge pom pom. He was and still is one of a kind. cat_pet_icon dancing_cat

Hey Elsa, when you get all presentable, i'd love your mocha and ice cream.. Sounds purrfect for the weather! another little mishap ;-) ... Ollie is on the way!

Have a great day with Nicholas. I always wait anxiously for those adventure updates! xoxo mary

oh Elsa...  forgot the top? Well, i'll bring my sponges and my brush. We'll get Auntie Michelle's kitchen all back on track...then...We'll get you so beautiful, no one will ever suspect you were full of coffee. I'm anxious to see your new freezer and work space.. I hope they are putting in that big sprayer. Then we can just hose down any accidents. Be there in a sec. I'll be driving my speedster.. we can take it over to Rusty's for canoeing. - oliver

Love that photo of Mannie's pompom tail. So cute. (((Michelle)))

BigMac's paw print plaster cast is just like Mannie's and is inside a small organza bag with a drawstring. It stays clean and the organza is almost transparent. Do you think that putting a sealer on the plaster cast might change the little bits of Mannie's fur imbedded in the plaster. As in, they might be less visible, maybe? Otherwise it probably would be fine.

Have lots of fun with DGS today!

Morning Everyone, or is it afternoon? I have no clue....  Nicholas and I have just returned from a morning in the pool. WHAT FUN! The FISH was one again in his element. WOW! What a swimmer, and only 2. He wanted to walk the trail that is by the pool after his lunch so we did that too. Boy is he ever tired now. All the way home he's telling me "no nap, no nap!" oh sure... the minute he's in his bed he crashed. ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz! Too fun. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in the LLips condo tomorrow.

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) I know... silly kitty! I have done that....  Woo HOO! Another customer. Elsa will Eb so happy. She wasn't too sure she'd be able to do all this... silly kitter! She did ask me to have you tell Mags tat she is on her way! I thought so too on the vet doing that for me, just very nice. it seems unanimous - leave it as it is. I think I will. I thought you might like Mannie's tush.... And THX - DGS and I had a good time at the pool. We end up on the trail near there, He was happy with it, so why not? works for me! :-D

HI Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL on Elsa - she is trying hard, and so wants to follow in her bro's footsteps. THx on the pic - I always thought he had the best looking rump. oh wow - nice to know that you've had yours for so long and it still looks like the day it was made. That is way cool.

Hi Anne ~O) ~O) ~O) I think he did too, and I know he was so proud of that pom pom - his trademark so to speak. oh cool! Tillie is a pompom too? AWESOME! I remember those baby footprints! Can't remember know what we glazed or painted ours with, but yes, they were covered with something. I thought what the vet did was really nice. I just love the print. Ah thanks too on Mannie...

Hi Barb ~O) ~O) ~O) oh no, not another wet eye... well, I guess so. it kinda did me too, does every time I look at that print. It is mega cool, that print! I know on that rump. It is one of my fav photos of him. His rump was kinda cool, if dumps can be cool.  THX, I thought of Ann too. I'm inclined right now to leave it as is... I dunno, guess I will think on it some. ;-)

Hi Hillary - ~O) ~O) ~O) I wondered if it was similar to the link you sent. I''m inclined not to do anything to it, as I like the appearance/color now. Guess I like the natural look.
Maui - I did! I had to knock out a wall in the kitchen to make it all fit. I so hope the bean doesn't mind.... heehee! A party! Oh cool! I am so there! I will comes up with something really cool then! An Elsa Special! I am on my way! Gots to stop n At Mags too!~~ Elsa, ice cream aficionado!

Hi Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) Hey thanks - a small one yes, but a bigger smile. :-D :-D I wondered on that pom pom = he was always swishing it one way and back again, It used to crack me up when it went in circles. One of a kind indeed. :-D THX on Nicholas - we had a great time!
Auntie Mary - I am all cleaned up now.... My bean out me in the shower! shesshhh! Wow - this is so cool! I gots deliveries!!! SWEET! i know, I mades a little mess.... ~~ Elsa, BIT
Ollie! DUDE! Hurry... I made one HUGE MESS!  OOOOOOOOO! A big sprayer - I didn't think of that. I best get one! OK, hurry, and wow, A speedster? MEGA COOL! I can't wait to take a rides. This is so cool. I am so glad you guys include me. ~~ Elsa

HI CD ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the photo. It is one of my favs, always have loved it. I like the organza bag idea. I will look for something like that, it sounds like a great idea. I think you may be right o a sealer changing the color of his fur. In that case, it will stay unsealed. i think you may be right on that. I think I kinda like the natural way it is now.
